"the job took to long, was not properly cleaned up and I think the price was to high. It took 3 days to finish a 1 day job and caulking was left inside and all over my water hose and wall outside. It took over 2 hours to clean up and there is still dried up caulk inside the utility closet and the outside wall. The person doing the job could hardly walk said he had pain in his leg and said he could not bend down. He did not have any thing to clean up the mess ( rags, vacuum, etc ). There are globs of caulking in the utility closet and he could not sand all of it. This was a poor job overall and with the mess left I really feel there should be some kind of refund for this job. If the holes in the plaster are small, you can fill them with layers of patching plaster until they’re filled. After it dries, you can sand the plaster and paint over it. Venetian plaster walls tend to be beautiful and attractive. Although their applications are very similar, no drywall compound and spackle are not the same thing. Spackle is a bit thicker and is used to patch holes as it dries quickly and is easy to sand. Joint compound shrinks a bit more and can be more temperamental to spread. However, one benefit is that you can use joint compound as spackle (for small jobs), but you can’t use spackle as joint compound.
