Half of my finished basement was water damaged from the Spring rains earlier this year. Carpeting and the bottom portion of the painted drywall around 2/3 of the area were damaged. S&S Drywall Repairs & Painting were among the first to respond to my request for repairs and were ready to do the job 5 days later. All necessay repairs were maticulously completed and total walls newly painted in two days. I am 100% satisfied with their work, their warm, friendly service and the reasonable pricing of a job well done. I highly recommend this company.

Steve was scheduled to do repair work on Thursday but needed to reschedule due to family emergency. He promised to come out Saturday and not leave until the job was finished. Late on Saturday. When finished got his check and bolted out the door. Baseboards were replaced with separate pieces and are coming loose from the wall. Back room bottom window seals was just plastered over and is uneven. I texted him right after and he told me he couldn't find the correct piece and would fix on Monday. Texted him that this was not acceptable, he made it seem like he was looking for the piece and would return after some back and forth. While I was cleaning up his mess. He texted saying Monday 7 AM. I called him and reminded him he promised to finish this today and not leave until it was complete. Argued with him back and forth and asked him if his word meant nothing. He said no and cussed at me a few times and that was that. Charged 200 dollar more. Hold on check until this job is done right.

Very quick to contact me and provide an estimate. Scheduled quickly and completed the project quickly. My drywall repair was not a huge project but it was the ceiling, so I imagine that is a little more challenging. Great communication and service. I highly recommend this company.

UPDATE 2/20/25: Second review. The contractor showed up and did a fine job. Kind of a shame about the three-day delay. ORIGINAL COMMENT: The contractor scheduled the job and called off on the first day and did not even call on the second day. I called him and he said that he was not feeling well. I told him that I was moving one. I am hoping that my deposit gets returned.

Stephen did a great job on our ceiling and we would highly recommend.
