"From quote process to finished product everything went really smooth and quick. They did a great job on our backsplash in a short amount of time and it looks fantastic! If we’re ever in need of tile work again, they’ll be our first choice! Highly recommended!"

"Gary was very fast to come and give estimate for kitchen and living room, tear outs and wood floors installed. Trent and Jeff were the workers to do the work. I would highly recommend for you to request them. Gary was great, billing was fast and making payment was easy, except company does not cover credit card fees to pay by. I would recommend you ask this to be included in your estimate. I would use this company again."

"Our salesman, Nathan was very informative and helpful through our whole project. Erica kept us informed about installing schedule. Even with delays, Erica made sure I had the latest information and never hesitate to call. Our installer for the shower was very polite and made sure he had all supplies. He installed the shower in one day. The counter top was installed three days later. The installer was polite and even came up with solutions when the installed plumbing needed adjustments."

"I had a problem with a dishwasher install that appeared to require removing and replacing ceramic tile in front of the dishwasher. My old dishwasher would not come out because someone had previously laid the tile on top of older tile. Monty responded quickly, which I appreciated for a small job. He came out and accessed the situation and stated that we'd have to cut out either 3 or 5 old ceramic tiles. Unfortunately they are no longer in stock and he could not guarantee that they would not break when removing them. He then came up with a much better solution. In looking at the old dishwasher, he said that if he could cut the feet off of it that it would likely come out. He had the saw to take care of it and the dishwasher came right out! I was grateful to not have to mess with removing and replacing tiles. Kudos to Monty for the out of box thinking! When I have flooring needs in the future, I will certainly be contacting him."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

If you’re looking for a durable tile for a shower floor, consider porcelain, stone, or vinyl tiles. Each of these options, when installed correctly, will stand up well to everything from water and moisture to the impact from a dropped bottle of body wash. These materials are also easy to clean and maintain, making them popular options for shower floors.

You can purchase natural stone tiles from your local home improvement store or stone distributor.

Simply put, natural stone flooring is a high-end style that outlasts its wood and carpet counterparts. After finding a style you love, a stone flooring company near you can help source and install them for a reliably clean look.

Installations typically take 1-3 days, depending on area size; repairs are usually completed sooner if the issue is localized.

Like glass tiles, you will not need to seal most porcelain tiles, particularly if the porcelain is already glazed. It depends on quality. Porcelain is very water resistant, but it is not 100% waterproof. To avoid staining, some homeowners use a penetrating sealer. It is also a good idea to seal your grout. Unless you use epoxy grout, grout is very porous and can harbor bacteria, mold, and mildew.

Yes, but you should only put tile directly on drywall in smaller areas that don’t experience excess moisture. For example, a small kitchen tile backsplash could work, but installing tile directly on the drywall in a bathroom or other chronically damp area is not a good idea. Either way, a cement backer board is a far more reliable solution, as drywall is susceptible to moisture and can warp or cause your tiles to crack.
