"All Pro tile does very professional work. They follow through with everything they tell you they will do and do it in a very professional manner. Very clean job site. They have installed a travertine floor for me as well as a backsplash wall and a complete bathroom. Anything and everything in tile can be done by All Pro Tile."

Customers say: Quality work

"Pablo personally did our small tile jobs in both upstairs bathrooms after we had to install new tube/shower plumbing units, and his work was excellent. He is very courteous and professional and finished the jobs in good time. He also was able to handle the remaining plumbing work, installing the handle/faucet unit for us. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any tile work."

"Paul and his crews are great...they are professional, clean up after themselves, are punctual and get the job done. Excellent value! I had to work two of the days, so they were here by themselves...very trustworthy. Got to know Victor the installer - would use him, Paul and Exotic Floors again...and again..."

Small jobs welcome

"We hired Tyler, from Cox Homes, to install tile on the ceiling and two walls in our master bath. He came in person to give us an estimate and offered suggestions for things about which we were uncertain. He did a great job of communicating with us! He showed up on time, covered our floors while he was working to protect them and cleaned up everything before leaving for the day. We could not be happier with the results and we will definitely be hiring Tyler again for future projects."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

No, painting shower tile doesn’t last and is better reserved as a temporary solution to refreshing the look of old tiles. Shower tile paint may last around one to five years, depending on how well you prep the surface before painting, the type of paint you use, the type of tile in your shower, and how often you use the shower.

Most professional shower tile installations take between six and eight hours, depending on the size and complexity. Most projects get completed in a single workday. DIY-ing the project takes around three to four days or roughly 16 hours. However, this will vary based on the skill level of the person completing the work.

Costs range from $5 to $15 per square foot for installation and $150 to $600 for repairs, depending on the material and complexity.

The tile trim you use will depend on a few factors, including design preferences, budget, and whether the project is DIY or not. You might choose plastic trim if you want an easier DIY job that is more budget-friendly. There are also more color options available in plastic. On the other hand, you might choose metal to match your fixtures or for areas with heavy use.

No, when done correctly, removing the tile shouldn’t damage the subfloor. However, if there was pre-existing damage to the subfloor from standard use or lack of maintenance, the subfloor may need repairs. For example, if the contractors notice mold growth on the subfloor or an uneven surface, you may need more extensive services before installing new tile.

If you DIY tile removal, remove the tiles one step at a time, individually removing the tile, grout, and mortar to prevent unnecessarily damaging the subfloor. Depending on the age of your home, consider having a professional inspect the subfloor to ensure it’s in good enough condition to lay new tile.
