"While I was very pleased with the design and installation process, the post-installation service is not responsive. One day after going live, the new Franklin WH battery system that was recommended started causing issues with production. They have been out twice to work on it, but only after multiple contacts and pleading. Currently, I have a $24K battery system I had to power down just to keep the solar system going. Unfortunately, they recommended (and I agreed) to install this cutting edge solution based on faulty manufacturer advice. Supposedly it is compatible with Enphase but in reality it is not, so it is not not their fault. I just wish there was as much energy put into getting the system operational as there seems to be with getting the system installed."

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. It has nothing to do with a bad computer board. This company looks for a way to deny claims. i had one other claim and they tried to deny it as well. Save yourself some agravation and stay away. "BEWARE BATE AND SWITCH and SHADY DEALING>>>If you are a American Home Shield Warranty customer and they send you APW Plumbing, Heating & Cooling to fulfill the service of the warranty beware. Bate and Switch - The convinced our renter that the Garbage Disposal needed to be upgraded to 1/2 HP from the 3/8th that was there and additional plumbing needed to be done. The cost the technician told our renter was $15 above the $75 we normally would pay. Somehow the technician also convinced them they need to pay the $234 charge up front. Long story short we are out the $234 plus the $75. they had the gall to send an invoice that included a $52 diagnostic fee which later was taken off. American Home Shield customer 1) never let APW into your home for any reason - you cannot trust them. 2) never pay the service provider a penny up front - the only thing you pay is the $75(Or what ever amount you agreed to pay per item fixed)"

"They did a terrible job. My pipes leaked after they redid them all because they forgot to glue them together and it damaged sheet rock, flooring and subflooring. After the job was done they handed me a bill for 2 times the amount bid and on the bid was all the damages that they cause and fixed. They are trying to charge me for fixing their mistakes."

"They installed our solar panels and worked on our electrical. They installed a new electrical box for us and we are still very happy with the electric work they did. They had promised us a next thermostat that sounded really cool and we were really excited about, but they never sent it. We called them three or four times and they would say it was getting sent out asap, but it never came. I have recently had some concerns about my panels because our app with the solar company says our panels are producing more energy than the electric company is giving us credit for an so we have had a constant solar panel payment and an electric payment. I emailed 816solarpros asking for some guidance figuring out this issue and no one has responded as of yet, though I am still hopeful they will. Our solar bill is around $300 a month and our electric bill is an average of $100 a month which means we are not currently finding our solar panels to have saved us any money in the short term, but rather cost us an average of an extra $150 per month. I am still hopeful that this will eventually have been an investment that saves us money, but I am not sure this was the best move to save money. I will say the $15,000 tax credit did help, but not enough that I would recommend others to buy solar panels at this time. It did seem better in the sells pitch than it has been in actuality."
