They installed our solar panels and worked on our electrical. They installed a new electrical box for us and we are still very happy with the electric work they did. They had promised us a next thermostat that sounded really cool and we were really excited about, but they never sent it. We called them three or four times and they would say it was getting sent out asap, but it never came. I have recently had some concerns about my panels because our app with the solar company says our panels are producing more energy than the electric company is giving us credit for an so we have had a constant solar panel payment and an electric payment. I emailed 816solarpros asking for some guidance figuring out this issue and no one has responded as of yet, though I am still hopeful they will. Our solar bill is around $300 a month and our electric bill is an average of $100 a month which means we are not currently finding our solar panels to have saved us any money in the short term, but rather cost us an average of an extra $150 per month. I am still hopeful that this will eventually have been an investment that saves us money, but I am not sure this was the best move to save money. I will say the $15,000 tax credit did help, but not enough that I would recommend others to buy solar panels at this time. It did seem better in the sells pitch than it has been in actuality.

It took forever to get the solar panels properly installed, and after 2 years we still haven't had our windows installed

It cost $26,000 and took 10 months to get installed. The $26,000 was okay, I agreed to that, and I realize that there are shipping and Covid delays, but still, 10 months (especially when their salesman told me 45 to 60 days up front). Meanwhile, The bank kicked loose the loan money about 6 months in even though their contract said it wouldn't go into effect until the system was installed, so I was paying on the loan before the work was finished. Orlando did a pretty good job on the installation, but contacting anyone in the office was practically impossible. Erin in the office was good about contacting me but she was not in charge of scheduling. 816SolarPros is either way overbooked or way undermanned and does not have very professional customer service considering what solar systems cost. The installer said he still has some loose ends left to do, but I don't expect that will likely happen.

I had insufficient room on my roof to put number of panels on roof that would make it a feasible project.

Terrible... The installation was completed in May. It is October and they have still not been activated, because they failed to install a part required by the city for activation. I have been paying a solar panel bill alongside my regular electricity bill resulting in over $800 a month in energy costs. I have an old home with no insulation. I got the panels to help lower my monthly costs, but due to 816 not responding to emails from either myself or the city I am now paying for their incompetence. They do not return phone calls from either myself or the city. The owner offered to pay my solar bill until the issue was handled, so I sent them my bills, and I haven't been able to get ahold of them for weeks. Go with another provider or you will regret it.

These guys were great. Came out and surveyed the site. Did all the leg work and paper work. On install, if there were any questions we would get together and figure them out. Did a great job.

I will say, after my system went live, there were some issues that drug out. It was difficult to get the get a response through email support, but once I got connected with a responsible party from 816Solar, issues were reviewed and eventually resolved. During that time, the company did take care of me regarding finances until what appears to be the final resolution was reached. Although frustrating dealing with these issues for a brand new installation, I was impressed by the continued follow through and support.

This company is one of the most responsive companies that I have ever dealt with. When an issue arises, it’s quickly taken care of. The installation looks great and the technicians are polite and professional.

816 Solar Pros did a fantastic job for us. They completed it sooner than expected and the entire crew was professional and courteous! My system was installed six months ago and 5 of those months my electric bill has been $0.00. This has been one of the best investments I have made!

This team was unbelievably professional, very qualified and efficient! My home is old and has lots of brickwork and a stone foundation, they were able to do the installation in a way that minimized the appearance of the wiring etc. I was very pleased with the entire installation process!
