"I needed to find a company who could reroute my dryer vent in my home. Upon calling around it was hard to find someone who would do a smaller job. So I decided to make an Angi's post to see what I might could get. I was contacted by Matthew at Purity Air Restorations. He came to my home, inspected what needed done, was very knowledgeable on the best way to reroute the dryer vent and then gave me an estimate - very fairly priced. Then was able to put me on his schedule quickly. On the day of the job, his guys that installed the dryer vent, were professional, friendly, cleaned up their work mess and did a great job on their work. I am very pleased with my dryer vent. I would like to add that I did have one piece on my dryer vent that was a little tricky and Matthew went over and beyond what I anticipated trying to help me with it. I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future! "

"My husband signed a contract with Tony Shipman, boss of Precision Mechanical in Sullivan IN. (Terre Haute). We paid him $4,000 and the job is not finished. He promised to give us water lines, and upgraded electrical service, which has never been accomplished. There are also many damages that have been made. There is a hole in my kitchen wall, there are several deep ditches in our lawn, making it unsafe for our daughter to play and causing water build-up perfect for a mosquito breeding pool. They took the electrical prongs from our heater to place on the well pump! They even used my husband’s gas in the shed without permission. They used all the drinking water we had without replacing it several times. They also left trash behind on our lawn. Tony Shipman has said he would do the job multiple times but has not shown, or even notified us of the reasons for not coming as planned. Mr. Shipman is now ignoring calls and text messages as well. This has been ongoing for three months. Our family has been wronged; we are seeking justice. We cannot afford a lawyer and are praying we receive help. I do not want anyone else to be wronged by Tony Shipman and his crew with Precision Mechanical. Please, do not overlook this review. We thought he was a good option because our local news station (WTHI) has a positive report. I anyone and everyone to heed this warning so it doesn't happen again to an innocent family."

"They were contracted through home warranty on January 19 and as of today March 21 I still have no heat. They replaced my nice white thermostat with an ugly yellow brown one that looked like something from the 1970s and tore up my wall in the process only to find out it was not the thermostat. I needed new baseboards. After numerous calls they kept telling me they had to order it. After complaining to home warranty they magically appeared in the shop an hour later. They came out today and refused to do the work because they don’t move furniture. I was at work at the time and someone here to let them in. I called and they said the same the same thing, you would think they would have mentioned this in the months they were waiting for the part. I checked Lowe’s and they have the baseboard heaters in stock for around 40.00 and will also ship in 2-3days so what took two months I still don’t know. Also when they came out the first time to put in the unneeded ugly thermostat they tracked mud in my house and left the outside fuse box door open in the rain. I would never recommend them!"

"Never returned. Call many times and they will not call back. I actually fell and fractured my ankle do to the leakage. They could have cared less and it still isn’t fixed. When I call they act like it is a joke."
