Service was amazing. They were always clean, very clean and they did it fast. They sent out 6 people to do the job.

I was nervous calling for service on a holiday (and a Sunday), and never even got a call back from the first company I called. However, the Lanz dispatcher reached out very promptly. Although there was a 5-6 hour wait for service (again, a weekend and a holiday) he gave me his estimate of when the tech could come out, and called me back every few hours with an update. The tech was able to come by earlier than expected, and resolved the issue quickly. I was surprised and pleased when they charged the standard rate for a call - no extra holiday or weekend pricing. I will be using them for future service calls!

They replaced the whole unit. It was just the A/C the furnace was not touched. Thye were comparable. They were within the price range of everybody else.

Service was prompt and technicians were professional. All services no matter how minor were performed satisfactorily and techs were careful of the just cleaned carpet. We were consulted whenever there were questions or concerns. Highly recommend Lanz. Cost of service includes new furnace.

Lanz was the highest of 4 quotes from local plumbers when I was looking to have multiple plumbing jobs completed, including the purchase and installation of a new water heater. I went with Lanz on the water heater only because they were quick to respond and were able to install it 2 days after my request. The Lanz rep, Ken, was very professional. On installation day, he had a younger guy helping him who seemed to struggle quite a bit and scratched up some furniture while bringing the new water heater in. He also left a large pipe in the yard that I had to dispose of. I chose to go with the least expensive water heater and still paid $1439.21 with Lanz. Others were significantly lower in price, but definitely not as quick to respond or schedule.

They were great to work with from getting a bid to job done. Highly recommend this company.

They are consistent.

They have a monthly arrangement so every month they have a service agreement and they charge you like $20 a month but I get priority scheduling and whenever there's an issue they come in and do a tune up of my heating and cooling system, come twice a year change filters and do all that maintenance stuff.

I have used Lanz a few times for heater and AC and felt they did a good job and it was a decent value. Recently, my tenant had an issue with a leaky sink and I gave them permission to get it fixed through Lanz.  I was later billed for $550 for a replaced faucet. I requested that lanz provide a detailed bill other than simply "faucet repair". They refused to give me a detailed invoice of price of parts and price for labor. Only thing they broke down was that the visit was $70 to just show up. I talked to 2 or 3 different people and they refused to give me the detailed invoice. To appease my concern they tried to get me to purchase an insurance plan. I know some faucets cost more than others, but the fact that they refused to give me a cost break down tells me the faucet was a cheaper one and that they charged me about $400 for labor on a job that takes about 1 hour. I'm not going to use them again for plumbing issues.

Travis did an outstanding job. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had everything back up and running in short order. It turned out to be that a mouse had chewed through the wire that controls the condenser fan and had also damaged another wire. Travis repaired/replaced the wires in a short amount of time and had us back up and running quickly. I was especially impressed that they dispatched a technician so quickly on a Sunday and did not charge me an upcharge for a weekend visit. I have used Lanz for furnace work, air conditioning, water heater, and sump pump repairs. I continue to be impressed with their service, pricing, responsiveness, and quality of work. They are fair and honest. I highly recommend them.

My central air went out several years ago and this fall my furnace finally went out as well so I looked around and found Lanz Heating & Cooling, which had very high reviews on several different sites. Kurtis came out and looked at my old system then sat down with me and went over several different options for a new system. Kurtis also went out of his way to help try to get all incentives that were available to help with the cost. Everyone I was in contact with was very friendly and helpful. I work nights and sleep during the day and Rodney and Jamie (the installation crew) were very accommodating. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend them.

Dale was our technician. He was friendly and professional. We called for emergency service. I had already cut away the ceiling, and turn the water off to the house. Dale found the pinhole and repaired quickly. The cost ultimately seems high compared to if I had just done the work myself, but it was worth having a professional do the job right--also, my two young children and family had just got home. It would have taken me probably hours to deal with the repair. Instead, Dale was done in 15-20 minutes. 
Overall, I was very pleased with the service, and would use Lanz again.

Have used Lanz for the last year.  They replaced a kitchen faucet.  They also checked the furnace and the air conditioner.  The air conditioner needed to be replaced.  They replaced both the air conditioner and furnace.  The work in all cases was done on time and very professionally.  I will call them again if I have a problem.

We bought a brand new construction home about 10 yrs ago, which had the heating/cooling system installed by Lanz. A year, or two, after taking ownership, we were contacted by Lanz to inform us that the system they installed was inadequate and we (foolishly) listened to them and installed a brand new system, which was supposed to have a life expectancy of about 15 yrs. Now it's halfway through the life expectancy of a new system that we installed to be proactive and now it's non-functional. Fool me once... Needless to say we will not be using Lanz ever again. And in talking with my neighbors that all had Lanz install or replace heating/cooling units, they feel the same way. This is a company that has built their business on shoddy work and substandard equipment. People need to wake up in East-Central Illinois and stay away from this company!
