Solar installers turned service team. A couple young guys that have worked for all the major solar installers in the region. After seeing the flaws in these systems were here to develop our own company, helping our customers protect their investments. With our experience, we hope to help service and maintain Solar systems in the Indianapolis region.

Integrated solar energy solutions: photovoltaic, solar-thermal, battery storage and heat pumps. We are not tied to any specific PV manufacturer and will source the best solution for your location and situation. Solar energy is no longer idealists' domain - it makes solid financial sense. Whether your goal is to minimize the time until your solar installation is paid off, or you want to ride out the Zombie apocalypse in comfortable energy self-sufficiency, we have the perfect solution for your location and building use. Contrary to popular perception, year-round self-sufficiency can be reasonably achieved in the Midwest. We have close relationships to vendors of weekly and seasonal energy storage systems which will keep lights and heat on year-round.

Rectify, LLC is a family-owned business with offices in Indianapolis, and in Campbell, California. We strive to promote energy efficiency, sustainability, and helping our customers to save money with solar installations, battery back-up systems, and we sell do it yourself solar panel kits in our shop. With a heritage of 1000+ completed solar installations and 10+ years experience, we are confident that you will be pleased with our quality installations and your beautiful, reliable, award winning system. We offer no money down financing for residential solar projects. Rectify is the winner of the 2014 Indiana Small Business Development Center's (ISBDC) Economic Development and Growth through Entrepreneurship (EDGE) Award winner. http://www.isbdc.org/2014-edge-winners/ *Certain restrictions apply

"I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. We signed a contract with them in Nov '21 for work to be completed in May '22 for a large multi-house project. In Nov '22 the work was finally "completed." Throughout that time there was minimal to no communication. I would get text messages about a work crew coming to work on the install and no one would ever show up. I would get last minute text messages asking for access to inside areas they had previously claimed they didn't need access. I have had them call and inform me that a "string of panels" was not functioning, only to have the tech arrive and say everything looks fine and it's all working. I still have never been given access to the system monitoring software, despite claims that I have, so I have no way of verifying if anything is working outside of random screenshots they send of their computer monitors. On of the least professional companies I've encountered. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere."

Solar Panels questions, answered by experts
  • Installing a new electrical meter box

  • Replacing your meter base

  • Replacing your service entrance cable

The cost to install or upgrade an electrical meter box ranges from $100 to $650, including $50 to $250 for the unit. The meter base passes the power from your electric company to your panel. The cost to replace a meter base is roughly $50 to $250.

Service entrance cables are electrical cables with multiple wires, bringing power from electrical companies to residential buildings. The cost to replace a service entrance cable ranges roughly from $1,000 to $1,500.

Solar panels can pay for themselves in five to 15 years, depending on the cost of your system, how much energy it generates, whether you qualify for incentives or power buybacks, and the price of energy in your area. Solar panels pay for themselves over time as they lower electricity bills, so it will take time to recoup your initial investment. However, the longer you have your system, the more money you can save and earn.

The best solar panels to withstand hail are those rated UL 61730. These solar panels are certified to withstand hailstones up to 3 inches in diameter and travel at speeds up to 88 mph. IP68 solar panels are the next most resilient solar panel. Solar panels without these ratings can handle hail up to 1 inch in diameter that travels up to 50 miles per hour. If you live in an area with frequent or severe hailstorms, purchasing UL 61730 solar panels is often worth the investment.

In most cases, solar panels are covered by homeowners insurance. However, you’ll need to read the fine print of your particular home insurance policy to ensure you’ll receive coverage for various incidents that could take place. For example, some policies only cover hail damage. Check with your provider to make sure your policy has adequate coverage.

While you can install solar panels by yourself, it can be a complicated process full of lots of manual labor, risky roof work, and knowledge of electrical wiring. Most solar panel installation projects should be reserved for a trained professional—especially if you plan on connecting your panels to the electrical grid rather than for off-grid use, which doesn’t require utility services.
