"On October 19, 2021, we entered into a contract & paid Aaron Curtis a 50% deposit to measure, and order install a replacement window. On April 27, 2022, an attempt was made to install the wrong-sized window (note that Aaron was on-site for the original measurement). Despite assurances from his project manager that the correct window was on order and delayed over the next 3 months, neither Aaron nor his project manager has responded to any of our attempts to contact them for 3+ months It appears that Aaron has moved on and taken a full-time job with another company without the decency to respond or inform us that he no longer intended to honor the contract we signed with him. Since he has LLC liability protection, it is pointless to pursue litigation to get our money back since he closed his business office and no doubt pulled all his/our money out of his LLC. If Aaron Curtis ever decides to start another business, or re-engage as Curtis Construction, any prospective customer should be pre-warned that they are dealing with someone who does not reflect the Mid-Western values or competency that his contract and marketing literature professes."

We did not know what to expect with starting a new project, but they had great ideas to help us out throughout the process. They truly went above and beyond through the planning stage. We really did not know how to plan out our 1,200 sqft unfinished basement, but Stephen, their architect, was very insightful and has so much experience. We were able to get a bedroom and wet bar living space exactly how we wanted it. Through the building process, Adam kept communication active through emails and Jorge did a great job managing the crews. All of the crew members were just so polite and respectful!! "We added a 264 sq Ft addition (12’ x 22’) off the kitchen, where the former patio was located. The project was completed with ship lap, a vaulted ceiling, and 9 Pella windows. A mini split supplies heat and a/c extremely well. The former sliding door from the kitchen to the patio was replaced with a French door. In addition, a portico was added to the front of the home. The crew was efficient, friendly, did daily clean up, and did excellent carpentry. The crew chief, Saul Fuentes, was outstanding and very meticulous. He had some great ideas to enhance the project aesthetics. We also had a 20’ x 20’ TimberTech composite deck added. The electrician did a great job running the 110 and 220 volt lines back to a secondary panel he added next to the primary panel. In summary, we highly recommend Aventus Contractors of Castleton, Indiana."

"Last week we hired Mike to take on a significant project that involved removing a load bearing wall holding up 1/4th of our roof and 2nd floor. It involved adding temporary walls to support the weight as he installed 2 14' laminated beams, not an easy task. This opened up our kitchen into an adjacent room give us a completely different look and feel. He also removed about 500 sq ft of tile and cement board. He will be coming back to install continuous wood floor. Mike was willing to divide work into phases, allowing us to manage spending better. All that work was accomplished in 5 working days! We are very pleased with his work, he was great to work with and professional. He also came in under his budget estimate."
