Kyle's has been in business since 2001. We have a steady base of repeat customers and have always been a word of mouth business. I network with several other landscape companies who offer more limited services. Payment is due upon completion. We do give discounts to our repeat customers, or customers who have referred us to friends in the past.

MKB Construction was founded in 2001 as a sole proprietorship installing decks, fences & pergolas - and expanded in 2006 to include handyman services and more. There are typically 2-5 laborers depending on the size of the project working alongside the Owner/Contractor. We have sub-contracted work with Fentress Builders and other companies. We do not charge for estimates or trip charges. Billing is done by contract. Typically, we ask for a deposit for material purchases upon the signing of a contract. Depending on the length of time completing a project a payment may be asked for in the middle (to pay laborers) and then remainder is due upon completion of the project. Hourly charges are given as an option in comparison to a flat rate for smaller projects such as drywall repair, minor electrical (outlets/light switches), painting, and home maintenance. The Owner's wife takes care of all paperwork, research, accounting, taxes, insurance coverage, etc. while raising their children.

Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

Planting greenery on a fence can help achieve more privacy, whether it’s shrubs along a picket or chain link fence or rolls of faux greenery to help create a solid-colored backdrop beyond the fence line. You can also try adding more lattice or paneling across a fence so that there are fewer places where passing eyeballs can see in.

Installing an aluminum fence typically takes one to three days, depending on the fence's size, layout complexity, and site conditions. Simple, straight-line installations may take just a day, while larger or more intricate designs with slopes or obstacles can extend the timeline. Professional contractors often complete the job faster than DIY installations.

In terms of materials, chicken wire mesh will be the most inexpensive option to use when building your fence. The downside is that it’s not the most attractive garden fence option. In a similar vein, you could choose a DIY fence made out of repurposed items, like car tires, or wooden pallets, either of which would be free to collect.

Regular lawn care keeps snakes away because it eliminates common hiding places. You can deter snakes by trimming grass, shrubs, and trees and removing weeds from your lawn and gardens. Clear away leaves and other debris that could serve as a potential snake habitat. You can also seal entry points around building perimeters and install metal snake fencing.

It’s usually cheaper to buy pre-made fence panels than to build your own. This surprises many people since DIY tasks so often save money. However, large stores don’t have to pay the same amount per board of wood that homeowners do, allowing them to sell pre-made panels at a more cost-effective rate. Pre-made panels also save a great deal of time, energy, and guesswork. The drawback is that they are harder to customize to the shape and slope of your yard.
