"At first i was greatly disappointed. Very unprofessional- bait and switch. Was quoted around 500-515 dollars by a lady in the corporate office so I went forward with them. Little did I know on the front end there was some hidden fees. They charge you 100 dollars extra for gas, even though our move was 5 minutes away...that's absurd. Also they charge you extra for furniture pads and saran wrap. But wait there is more! They broke our ping pong table and never filled out the paper work like they said they would! I had to contact them and the owner was unaware of the ping pong table being broken. They also never contacted me until 4 days later and quoted me 790 dollars, 270-290 dollars higher than I was quoted JR the Owner made it right and took off 50 dollars for gas and didn't charge us for the furniture pads and saran wrap as long as we didn't file a claim for the ping pong table. I added a star because JR is a reasonable man and owner but the way they do business is sub par. Also their movers are good people and they work hard but didn't tell their owner of the damaged item. Overall they have a few things to fix before I would call them again."

The decision turned out to be the correct one. They were friendly and helpful from the first phone call until the final delivery. The moving crew arrived on time and was friendly and professional all the way through. They also completed the move well ahead of the projected duration to do so. "Awful Experience!!! I would give them negative stars if I could! Transit Systems is a terrible company with horrible customer service, and they subcontracted with an even worse company called Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery. I paid $1,500 for 'white glove service' to have a dining room table, 3 table leaf extenders, six wooden dining chairs and an antique sewing table moved from Memphis to KC. The guy showed up and stacked the furniture on top of each other in the truck without any packing material (no blankets, not bubble wrap, no cardboard) just wood touching wood. My brother-in-law took pictures, and wouldn't sign the paperwork. The guy got mad, shut the truck door and drove off with my stuff. We called both companies and they said they could not do anything until the stuff arrived. It took 3 weeks for the truck to arrive and they sent an email saying it arrived at a warehouse in Nashville but would not tell me what condition it was in. It was delivered two months later in pieces. All the broken table legs and chair arms and broke table leaf dumped in a box with no padding and the box had all kinds of rips and wholes in it. All of my chairs were scratched up, there was a huge round water mark, where some idiot set a drink on my sewing table. And it is now 4 months later and I can't even get them to return my email or phone messages. I'm having to take legal action. They hire people who are inept of doing their job well and lack integrity. Businesses are run from the top down so that tells you a lot about the kind of people running both companies... ZERO INTEGRITY about doing the right thing for their customers & ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Don't use them. You will not get the service you pay for and have damaged furniture on top of that."

"MiniMoves Inc. was very efficient in handling our small move. They were responsive in getting a quote to us and setting up a pickup time. The 3 men (Tay, C.J. & Chay) who showed up in a timely fashion, carefully packed up all our items and were very professional and respective in our home. Our items were received at the other end of the move quicker than expected. Again the men who delivered our items were very professional and communicated well with us. All of our items, many of which were valuable art pieces were delivered and unpacked in perfect condition. We couldn't be happier with this small move experience. We will definitely use them again for another small move in the future. We are gradually moving our belongings from Chicago to Palm Desert, CA in setting up our winter home. So glad we found MiniMoves."

"Employee stole my wedding ring--after they treated me like a liar and a cheat and ignored my phone calls I got proof from the police in the form of said employee on photo surveillance pawning it. Long story short, they overbooked and hired a temp service employee. Temp service only did a state background check on social security number. A national background check would have uncovered a felony record. AWVS does not see that they did anything wrong. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT HOLD THEMSELVES ACCOUNTABLE TO WHO THEY PUT IN YOUR HOME--this is in their own words... I have given them 2 months to work this out with me. I have yet to even get a real apology."
