We could not have been more pleased and impressed with the service we received from Studley Moving, who operates out of Indianapolis but has the capabilities to serve nationwide. They proved to be the Nordstrom of movers and I am not blowing smoke or related to Daniel. :) The attention to detail, conscientiousness, customer service, flexibility, all at a significant discount to even the preferred/recommended moving options from my employer, all contributed to this being an incredible experience, something you rarely say regarding a move or a moving company. I highly recommend Daniel‘s company without any reservation.

Daniel and his crew did an exceptional job for my family. My move was complicated and involved stages. Daniel’s all female packing crew was excellent. They were efficient and extremely careful. They packed fine artwork, antiques , crystal and china. Studley moving worked long hours to complete the job in a timely manner. My possessions were crated and meticulously stored in a prestine and organized storage facility. His equipment and pads were neat and clean unlike others I have moved with..... Daniel manages his team expertly and is extremely hands on. Other friends have been promised storage by movers which resulted in their items being placed in a road side unit. Mine were crated and stored in a professional manor. Daniel stuck to his up front contract unlike other movers with hidden add-on costs. This is my third move with Studley moving. He has since moved my best friend and parents which were both seemless and proficiently executed. Thank you to Daniel and his crew for making a stressful time pleasant and easy. I’m grateful.

His price was several thousand dollars higher than competition but since he had some of our goods in storage and based on prior reviews, we went with him. Complete fiasco. Ever since Darrell left, the company does not seem to know how to handle business. Never showed up on the scheduled date to pack. After multiple calls, finally showed up and started the move. Did not finish loading as scheduled. Did not deliver as scheduled. Still waiting for the final delivery to Long Island 6 weeks later. Items damaged both at origin and at delivery. One piece left behind and never delivered. Owner is totally unresponsive. Have reported to DOT and insurance company.

Studley asked where moving & took a look to determine how best to move table. Was glass & tedious to get down stairway.

Studley did a wonderful job packing, moving, and protecting the furniture. Solid furniture pieces were wrapped in blankets then covered head to toe with plastic to prevent dust infiltration. Even cushioned pieces were wrapped with plastic wrap. They were very careful to protect the newly-remodeled space when they moved the items back in. They even made sure all the furniture had appropriate padding on the legs to avoid scratching the new hardwood floors.

From beginning to end Daniel Studley was great to work with! He was exceptionally prompt with calls, text and email communication. His crew was great as well and I felt very comfortable having them in my home, packing our belongings. Everything was done on schedule and they also willingly made an extra stop to drop off our son's belongings in Tacoma. Daniel also built a special cold box to transport our wine collection. 
We had just a few items that sustained damage and Daniel has been very helpful getting me reimbursed for those. I think he is a very honest, hard working business owner that will treat your treasures as if they were his own. It's hard to find a mover anymore that is independent and uses their own employees. I highly recommend Daniel for any moving needs you may have.

Nothing was scratched, dented, or broken.  Everything was beautifully packed.  They did a fine job.  Very good to my elderly mother and me.  I would recommend them.

After looking at a few movers, I decided to go with Studley Moving. Darrell was very prompt and upfront about the estimated cost and how their moving process worked. He really makes you feel at ease before you hire them. On the day of the move, we expected it to take two days since my condo was a 3 story highrise and I had the top two floors. Darrell and his team were able to pack and load everything safely before lunch. This involved taking apart furniture, wrapping it up, and packing it to prevent damage. They also had to carry everything down 50+ steps on each trip. I rented a scissor lift to help and they managed and used that as well. Darrell and his team were able to unload everything quickly after lunch. They didn't ding walls and kept everything very safe. They reassembled all the furniture and got everything where it was supposed to go. What I liked most about working with them is how much fun they have as a group. They work hard nonstop and have a good time doing it. I high recommend them to anyone needing professional movers.

Dan and Darrell's crew (Sr., Jr., Unc., Scotty, Cole, Joseph) did an outstanding job. We moved during a downpour in the middle of October and they protected our floors from mud and water and covered our furniture so as to not be damaged by the rain. At the new home they made sure all of floors were protected and knocked out the move in one day. Dan and Darrell were easy to work with in terms of scheduling (estimate and move scheduling). Studley Movers definitely made this transition easy. Thank you!

Our experience with Studley Moving Company was spectacular. Their quote was a little higher than one we got from Leader's but we chose Studley's because we felt really good about our initial meeting with Darrell, and we liked the fact they were a local company with 8 or so long time regular employees whom Darrell trusted implicitly. We definitely feel like we made the right decision. This was by far the best move either of us had ever experienced. Moving is such a tremendously stressful experience for both people and pets, but we couldn't have felt more comfortable and confident with Darrell, his daughter Nicole, and the rest of the Studley crew. They were all extremely friendly, polite, kind, and hard-working. Many of them would actually acknowledge our dog and cat, (who were also stressed out), and give them a little pat here and there, which I personally appreciated. They did an excellent job of packing, moving, and unpacking our items, nothing was broken or damaged, and everything went off without a hitch. They were punctual and courteous, but most of all they were friendly and kind, and by the end of the move, we felt like they were family and we were sad to see them go. What a wonderful experience it was for us. We can not recommend these people enough! Darrell and Nicole, you are truly special people and we are so grateful to you for helping us get through such a stressful time. If you are ever in Louisville, you know you are always welcome in our new home!

Great movers, responsive and efficient. Services were reasonably and competitively priced. Darrell was a pro. This review is way past overdue. Studley Movers actually moved us just over two years ago. They made such a good impression, I had to leave this review as it was earned and deserved albeit not timely. I hope my tardiness won't be counted against them. Darrell Frazier and his crew moved all contents from a two story plus basement home to another two story home. It was a 2day, 6person job. On first day, the crew emptied the old house. I procrastinate so they even helped with some packing. 2nd day was travel to and loading into new house. New house has steep, enclosed stairs to 2nd floor. 2nd floor was where the heaviest furniture had to go. Neither of the houses nor any of the belongings were damaged! The crew was amicable, efficient, and courteous. My move date changed 3 times but Studley worked with me and made the move happen. I don't recall the cost but it was worth it.

Starting with our first contact with the owner Daniel Studley, he was prompt with his responses, extremely courteous, honest, accomodating and helpful!  We found the same to be true with EVERY person we encountered with the company!  My husband had moved ahead of me and the kids and the guys packing us up couldn't have been and more understanding and helpful!  I didn't feel completely prepared for them when they arrived but they stepped in and did everything else for me!  They asked lots of questions as they packed to make sure things were being done the way I wanted them to and that our belongings were properly taken care of.  One day the driver even brought his grill and not only did he cook for the entire crew, but he fed me and my kids too!  I know it's usually the other way around, but they saw how swamped and stressed I was and took care of me too!  They were excellent communicators and kept us up to date throughout the entire process which was so important because I was on the packing side and my husband was on the delivery side!  The delivery went equally well and they did an excellent job problem solving when the big truck wasn't going to fit the narrow road to our new house.  They took the extra time to look around the house, make suggestions including not filling the rooms with boxes that would leave them too crowded to unpack in, but rather suggested staging some of the boxes in the garage to give us more room to unpack and allow us to get to the rest of the boxes at our own pace.  They helped get furniture in the right place, not just the right rooms and hooked up tvs etc for us!
I would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for a mover for long or short distances and I will DEFINITELY use them again!!!

We couldn't have been happier. Everything was handled well and went smoothly and as promised. We couldn't find a few items as we were unpacking and Dan called his movers in Indiana and they could tell us just where to look. Dan was especially nice in working with our new neighbors on pulling his semi into some tight quarters. We highly recommend Studley Moving and Storage. Perfect! Darrell was organized and very thorough. His expertise in antiques was a blessing. Would use them again in a heartbeat.
