Piano Tuning

Excellent, as always. This was the second or third time he's tuned my piano. He called ahead to say he was running a little late, but then arrived when he said he would. In our new home the piano is very close to a door to our porch that's opened and closed a lot, making it a little high-pitched because of the humidity, so to save me an additional tuning he tuned it to itself & said it would return to the right pitch this winter when the air is dryer.

He was friendly and we built a rapport, then he got right to work. He showed me where moths had been in the piano, but said they hadn't done any damage yet - told me I could keep them away by rubbing a moth cake on the felt where they'd been. The moth cake crumbs will keep them away. He seemed to care a lot about the piano - the work is more than just a job to him, which I appreciate a lot. He was very efficient in the tuning and left the piano sounding great!

He showed up on time and had the right tools to get the job done. Very happy. Will be bringing him back to tune the piano.

Bob did a fantastic job. When the organ needed to go across some grassy areas he was even prepare for that problem.

Bob Bonner of Bonner Piano Service came to our home to tune a Wurlitzer console piano that had not been tuned in many, many years.  Prior to his arrival Mr. Bonner and I spoke by phone about the work that was needed, he later confirmed our appointment by email, and again on the morning of the service by phone.
Mr. Bonner is extremely polite, personable, and professional.  Upon entering our home, he changed his shoes, so as not to track dirt into our home and immediately went to work on our piano.  He diagnosed that the piano needed both a pitch raise, as well as a tuning and thoroughly went through that process over a 90 minute period.  Bob not only explained what he was doing, but was happy to answer any questions that I had along the way.
Upon the completion of his work.  Mr. Bonner put everything back the way he had found it and advised us that the piano should be tuned again in 10-12 months, just to help it settle into the adjustments that he had made.
We will certainly use Bob Bonner again in the future to care for our piano.  Many thanks to him for his work.

It was great.  He squeezed me into his busy schedule on a last minute request, texted an ETA when he was on his way, and did a wonderful job.  Very knowledgeable and expert in their field.  Will use again in the future for  additional tune-ups.

Bob moved piano from seller's house to my home (approx mile away). Everything went really smoothly and could not have been easier.  Bob and his son were very nice, on time, careful with the move.  Could not be happier with the level of service.

I selected Mr. Bonner after searching Angie's List for a piano tuner.  As an added point, another tuner did not respond at all to my request for his service.  Mr. Bonner, who has an impressive musical background and currently plays with the Carmel Symphony Orchestra, responded quickly to my voice mail message and arranged a mutually agreeable appointment time within the next week. Most importantly, he was perfectly prompt, professional, and proficient; but he was also pleasant, informative, and interesting to talk with.  He was also able to repair the fall, and charged only a tiny additional amount for that.  The entire job was completed in about one hour.  The piano once again sounds as it should, which gives me great pleasure since it has great sentimental value.

Mr. Bonner is very helpful, informative, and professional.  He did an excellent job of tuning our used piano we purchased a year ago.

Mr. Bonner was very friendly and knowledgeable. He has years of experience and a wealth of knowledge. I would highly recommend him.

Bob was so easy to communicate with.  He responded quickly to my email request, and once I gave him our location, he figured out a way to add a visit to some work in our area.  He came by at 5 and was done by 6:30 PM.  Professional, expert, reasonable and a genuinely wonderful person.   He even explained to me how to tune the guitar to the piano - very interesting.
