Everything went smoothly from the first phone call until the job was complete. The crew showed up exactly on time. They exercised great care in handling our Steinway and knew exactly how to take it apart for the trip downstairs and then reassemble it. They even noticed that the previous mover had switched two of the legs. The entire move took about 30 minutes. If the piano ever needs to be moved again, Meridian Piano Movers will be my first and only call.

It couldn't have gone any better! Despite the rain, Meridian Piano Movers showed up on time and delivered top-notch service moving our Baldwin Baby Grand piano from downtown Indianapolis to Brownsburg. Their price was fair, right in the middle of the all of the quotes I received and their expertise could not be beat. They removed the legs and carefully wrapped each piece in moving blankets. They navigated the large piano out of the house and down the 4 steps to the side walk on their custom built ramps with total ease (yes-- even in the rain!). The 3-man crew were incredibly professional and kind. I highly recommend Meridian Piano Movers for any of your high-end moving needs.

Great. After moving the movers could not move the piano. Then we hired another company that said they were piano movers. they scratched my hardwood floor and wall and were not able to move the piano upstairs. Meridian Piano Movers did an awesome job. They responded to my called immediately and were able to give me a service date for next early morning. Arrived on time, were very professional and, most importantly, perform the job in no time, with out any damage to my home. Highly recommend them.

Owner Ed was very responsive and prompt when I requested a quote and scheduled the move. We had to reschedule due to the weather, and he was flexible and accommodating, working with me and the former owner to book a convenient time. The movers were on time and called when they were on their way. They were efficient, friendly, made sure the piano was positioned where I wanted it, and provided a referral for a piano tuner. I would use Meridian Piano Movers again, and would not hesitate to recommend them.

When I first called Meridian, I spoke with Ed, who made it abundantly clear that he would not give me any more than $200 for my piano because it's an entry-level Kimball. I understood that (he's running a business, and taking in pianos is labor-intensive), but went ahead and promptly emailed him pictures of the piano as instructed. Ed said he would call me the next day, and that if he didn't call, I was to call back and inquire again, which I did, after not hearing from Ed again. The voicemail I left also went unanswered. Upon following up with Ed again three weeks later, he informed me that he would give me no more than $50 for the piano, since it was a Kimball, and was stored in my garage since my last contact with him (a move I was forced to make, for renovations to my home). Had he called me when he said he was going to, or responded to my second call, I would have happily taken his original offer. I fully appreciate his position, and (to a point) his frankness, when it comes to making money from pianos he takes in, and I have little doubt that his inventory of pianos, and the prices thereof, are good. I am not at all impressed with how he follows up; I would have been happy with no more than an email or call back saying he's simply not interested. His indifferent attitude and failure to follow up at all is a turn-off. Lesson learned - shame on me for not bugging him until he felt like calling me back.

When he moved the piano out to his home and into the garage, leaving it in an unheated and unairconditioned area, he put the piano at risk.
