"As a new homeowner, I wanted to make sure that I had all the preventative maintenance completed on my furnace before the winter came. I turned to Angie’s List to look up heating and cooling companies. I was quickly in touch with 3 companies and I chose the company that had the best price. Higdon Heating and Cooling LLC were prompt to call with the best price. Not only did Shawn have the best price, but he was also a true professional on the phone. I explained to him my concerns regarding the ductwork in my house. Now my case is not the average case, because what could go wrong did go wrong. To make a long story short I will mention that my furnace stopped working that following evening. Shawn was quick to respond the next morning, on a weekend, to fix it. He was very knowledgeable on the furnace and very competent. Shawn stayed on the problem until it was fixed. I would completely recommend Higdon Heating and cooling. It is a family run business. Shawn and his sons are very good at what they do. The duct work in the basement was completed by Shawn’s boys. I am happy to announce that all sides of my house are keeping warm. What is best about the company? Well, it has to be the fact that they are real people, amd that they will come to your house and help you out when needed. The extra work that was needed to fix my furnace, well it was done free of charge and still free even after my husband attempted to pay for it.
