"Ryan was recommended to me by a friend who had a beautiful porch built by him. Ryan came and gave me a quote and stated it would be two months before he could begin work. I agreed. Contract signed June 5, 2023. I paid him 50% up front. He didn’t start the project until late October after asking for several updates. At that time, I paid the additional amount to cover the cost of supplies needed to finish the porch. Here I am over a year later and my project is not completed. I’ve contacted him multiple times. There is always one excuse after another. I’m out over $10K. The project is only about 40% complete and the ceiling already had pieces fall off, warping and water damage. My only option now is to fork out even more money to take legal action. Zero stars even though I had to select 1. Did I learn a lesson in paying upfront and believing people are genuinely good? Yup. Never again."
