Brookscandoit Inc is a full service building and remodeling company from design thru completion. I make the home visit, complete the quote and personally perform much of the work. This doesn't allow for numerous ongoing projects, but does allow for close quality control. I truly enjoy what I do and love going to work everyday and I shows in the final product. Everything is by written agreement with a spec page and detailed payment schedule based on what has been completed. You always maintain a final payment in hand to be sure everything has been done. "Engaged with Evolution drafting to get plans done for my sons home after it was damaged from the 2 hurricanes in Florida. We agreed on pricing and everything seemed great and we were close to finalizing the plans but the local city needed the plans signed and sealed. Evolution Drafting said they could provide this service for an additional cost of $1,100.00 which was paid on 3/20. They stated it should only take a few weeks to get done. Nothing ever was delivered and after numerous texts and emails, I was promised the final signed and sealed plans by 4/30. Well 4/30/2025 has come and gone and I still have not received our plans. Rueben has continued to stall me by stating he is trying to get these done ASAP. It has reached a point that I feel they are never going to get us the final plans as we have asked and paid for. Started out as a great experience but has turned into a nightmare for us and our son and his wife."

Needless to say, we were nervous; however, David Wilson, owner of Apex, put our minds to rest taking time to explain the advantages of the replacement product and each step his crew would take along the way. We began our discussions with David in the Fall of 2017 and Apex was offering some incentives to fill out their work calendar. David's price was very fair (not the cheapest, but by far not the highest). His amiable personality and fair-minded spirit made the decision to go with Apex much easier. Unfortunately, the weather in late 2017 was miserable and David called to suggest that we consider doing the project in the Spring. His concern was that the siding could get completed, but he knew my wife wouldn't want just a primed house sitting all winter before the temperature would be high enough to allow for painting. A credit to David, because he gave us his honest opinion of starting a big job with weather most unpredictable while, at the same time, ensuring us that all of the 2017 incentives he offered would hold for the project, even though delayed. David's crew was simply wonderful. During the demolition phase, they were careful to see that all material made it properly to the waste container and each evening, they would organize their materials in preparation for the next day. They worked quickly and efficiently, touching base with us to share project status and process. The foreman and crew were respectful and we had no concerns, as we left the house periodically, to allow them access to our facilities. I think these simple gestures of consideration go a long way. In the end, the project completed in short order, was installed exactly as promised and there were no change orders. The cost of the project was approximately $30,000 and the amount I paid David was exactly as he proposed. Both my wife and I find ourselves amazed that for our first major project on our home of 29 years, it came off without a hitch and that is certainly credit to David and his entire Apex Design Build team!"
