Teaching all levels & ages from 5 years and up including adults. Musicians are available for parties, weddings, accompaniment, church choirs & other music events.

The service was fine. We are continuing to use them. The Deal was just a one-time thing, but it kind of jump-started us into the company and we have continued to use them now for three years. It was very good, very favorable. It ended up being a couple of lessons for free. It was for my children and they love it. It is a music teacher that comes to our house every week and it has worked out really well. It is a reputable company. You can count on them. I would definitely go with them again or recommend them. I highly recommend Legacy Music.

My son has been playing for just over three years. He wanted to improve but the school wasn't really set up for the personal instruction he needed. April has worked well, knowing when to praise and when to tell him he needs work. She is very good at working with him and he has really improved in just six lessons
The only problem we have is that it is difficult to pay. The online payment is set up through an odd third party system that looks dodgy and makes things difficult

Getting the lessons scheduled was fairly easily set up through email. The quality of the piano teacher was very good. After the introductory package of 10 lessons, I ended up continuing to use Impromtu Music for piano lessons for my daughter.
The owner of Impromtu - Irini, is extremely professional and great to work with. She goes above and beyond to make the payment and scheduling process efficient.
Overall I am very pleased and plan to continue lessons into the foreseeable future.

The teacher is good although sometime he will be late for appointment. But the big issue is the billing system of Impromptu with delays and miss calculations, though they will correct it only if you keep a good record for your classes.

I purchased an introductory package of in home piano lessons through Angie's List. Lessons were continued throughout the remainder of the school year after introductory lessons used. Impromptu music was prompt in contacting me and linking me with a piano teacher available during preferred days/times. A new teacher was quickly found when there was a change in our schedule so not to cause a disruption to lessons. Teachers were professional and punctual.

It was a really great experience! A highly trained guitar teach came to our home and taught lessons to my husband for 2 months. Our teacher was incredible; very professional, experienced, and made the lessons very interested. Would very much recommend their services.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. The billing was done via email so it was a little impersonal. The actual teacher that we were assigned worked well with my child. They were reliable. The price was the going rate for the service. I would probably use them again.

The service worked out well. It went smoothly. For few weeks we had trouble to adjust the schedule also the instructor suggested to take one hour lesson and we later found out that one hour is too long for the kids to begin.

The instructor has been great he is prompt and very friendly. My daughter fells comfortable with him!
I don't know enough about his music abilities or that much about guitar. To be able to judge just how good of instructor he is. But my daughter seems to be enjoying her lessons. We have had a few vacations breaks so over the last few months it has been choppy!

We contacted Impromptu Music by e-mail with all the details about the service we wished. Then a piano teacher was suggested for us. The teacher contacted us, and we scheduled the class.
Then we paid by phone the classes/month, in advance. Now we have regular piano classes.

I purchased 8 or 10 at home music classes for myself. The original assigned instructor had to quit because he wrecked his car and had no transportation and I was re-assigned a 2nd instructor. The 2nd instructor was nice and did fine teaching me. However, she was unable to drive herself and relied upon others for transportation. She had to cancel several appointments. And 2 times her driver had to come into the house to use our restroom. I decided to forgo the convenience of home and have been very happy at Meridian Music.

Although we don't have any control over car accidents the second teacher who was driven around has been having some health issues that kept her from driving herself to lessons. This incident with the second teacher back in April was not communicated to us until now with the review otherwise we would have been happy to correct the issue. Quality in our service is very important to us and should you decide to try lessons through us in the future we would be happy to make things better the next time around."

Joe is absolutely wonderful and I would recommend him to anyone. He is a master at a variety of instruments and my daughter thinks the world of him.

Impromptu Music set us up with one of their instructors right away and then let us coordinate the days/times with him. We set up the first lesson within a week or two. He also suggested that the first lessons be combined into a one hour session so he gets to know our daughter's strengths/weaknesses and then get an individualized plan. We had explained that she needed beginning lessons with techniques that would build basic skills. However, the lessons consisted of singing along to the piano without any real warm-up, scales or any practice plan between lessons. Although practice singing is important, we had hoped for a bit more specific voice instruction starting with the basics since she is a beginner. We would have preferred a more comprehensive lesson versus a sing-a-long. I believe this was a factor of our instructor having some personal difficulties as Irini and Impromptu Music in general were very professional. Irini contacted us when the instructor was having problems with scheduling the remaining lessons and would have another instructor substitute if we wanted. We waited for our first voice instructor to reschedule but appreciated the opportunity to change instructors. Our instructor preferred to do the first lesson as a one hour lesson, so we combined the first 2 lessons into one. The two remaining lessons we requested to do as two 30 minute lessons since the hour was a bit long for a beginner and our daughter would have likely benefited from 2 shorter lessons and practice in between the lessons. However, the next lesson was again for an hour. The convenience of the lessons in the home is very nice. Irini was terrific about contacting us about changes/delayed lessons and would send followup emails. The voice instructor that we had was having some difficulties in scheduling, car troubles etc so that part did not go as smoothly as it could have and we would have preferred to do the lessons as four 30 minutes sessions instead of being pushed into 2 one hour sessions. Overall I was impressed with Impromptu Music and think it was our particular instructor that made the experience less than ideal. I don't believe the instructor still teaches at Impromptu. The scores reflect an overall experience as the instructor had personal issues that interfered with the quality of the lessons while Impromptu Music is very professional and had excellent communication.

I had a good experience with them. They provided a service with setting us up with someone experienced enough for private lessons. Sometimes, we would get set up with someone who may be more knowledgeable than the average person, but may be less involved than a professional. They inform you as to how knowledgeable the instructor is before they come out, so I agreed to the people who ultimately came. They would let us know which instructors were available for our schedule and who we would be seeing. Sometimes, you may be set up with someone who is very knowledgeable but isn’t as available. Other times, we may get someone who only passively plays and instructs part time but is available when we need them. My son is very young, so this wasn’t a big deal. I’m sure that, if we required a more advanced instructor, they would’ve set us up with the appropriate skill level.
