This included a major change in layouts and moving walls, doors, HVAC, plumbing, gas lines, and electrical. I also had custom cabinets and hall tree built for the space. The final result is exceptional (see photos). While the time ended up taking longer than originally expected, it was worth it to have a trusted pro do the work and to deal with the permit process. The company was easy to work with, professional, and maintained a clean workspace across my house. We got a few quotes and ultimately went with Homewise Remodelers because the price was reasonable and Miro was so thorough in walking us through our options. He helped us select cabinets and worked through several versions of the kitchen layout until we were happy with it--we were easily able to swap out cabinet layouts and finishings, like adding a farmhouse sink. His crew were reliable, on-time, and respectful of our property throughout the remodel and we appreciated their attention to detail. "We have used Paramount in the past and were pleased with the service. Not this time. I called to have someone come out to give an estimate of reseating two posts that had heaved over the winter affecting a gate. At the same time I requested an estimate to replace a lower rail that had been broken by workmen in our neighbor's yard. I asked that the estimate for the rail to be separated so I could show it to the neighbors for payment. The separate price for the broken rail was $550 because they would have to remove and reset two posts. My neighbor thought that was excessive and I should have believed him. When the workmen came they reset the two gate posts without any issue. Then they replaced the rail without having to do any post resetting. When I called they offered me a $75 refund. So replacing the rail cost me $475. The total job was a little over $1400 which I had to pay in advance. I will never use Paramount again."
