"Our condo association's 6 car garage was in need of tuck pointing.  We were not looking to have the entire garage tuck pointed; only the areas that really needed repair.  We called 4 different companies for estimates.  Two companies never returned our phone call and one of the companies would only repair the entire garage.  Windy City Masonry called us within hours of us leaving a message.  Within 2 days we had an estimate and pictures of exactly what sections of the garage repair the estimate covered and the cost was  reasonable.  Normally we obtain 3 estimates before a decision is made however we were impressed with Windy City Masonry's professionalism and therefore contracted them for the work.   We are extremely satisfied with the work that was done and the communication throughout the process.  They are perfectionists!"

"Noe showed up immediately, no questions asked and did service at reasonable price, cleaned gutters, and the downspouts completely at a time in which we had overflowing gutters and water in the basement. He was communicative, clean, and I look forward to long relationship with him and his company."

"Ibro and his crew at Haris Inc. did a wonderful job remodeling our kitchen. They listened to what we wanted to accomplish and it turned out better then we could have imagined. They are honest, respectful and very friendly. We can’t say enough good things about Haris Inc. We will certainly use them again."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Sanding and pressure washing serve different purposes in deck maintenance, so one is not necessarily better than the other. Pressure washing is ideal for annual cleaning to remove dirt, grime, mold, and mildew. Sanding is a deeper restoration method used to smooth rough surfaces, remove an old finish, and prepare the wood for a new coat of stain or paint. The ideal process for refinishing a deck is to first clean it (with a power washer), then sand it, and finally apply the new stain or finish. While cleaning should be done annually, sanding and staining are typically needed only every one to three years.

Sand is a common sublayer for hardscape features like driveways, paver patios, and more. Most projects that involve sand require a 1-inch layer to promote evenness, drainage, and weight distribution. For further drainage, most projects have a 6-inch minimum layer of gravel beneath the sand.

Costs depend on surface material, labor, debris disposal, and the type of blasting media used.

You can concrete can be done when it’s wet or dry. However, it’s safer when wet, as harmful dust and chemicals are present. Sanding it when dry is faster, but you’ll agitate more dust and chemicals, meaning you’ll need to be more careful.

DIY is possible, but professional services ensure even removal, safety compliance, and proper cleanup.
