"We hired Wells Roofing for roofing repairs from storm damage. They went out of their way to ensure that the job was completed to the high level of quality they expect and the result was above my expectations. Great work and the job came in slightly under bid, which was greatly appreciated. I will definitely be looking to hire them for future roofing needs and would highly recommend them should you need roofing repairs."

"Prompt and courteous service for a roof replacement. Chad walked me through the various older items that could be removed and replaced by a ridge vent. Delivery of the shingles was fun to watch and did not take much time. The roofing crew was skilled and courteous (cleaned out a portion of the gutter that had tree branches and other debris), cleaning up after the roofing was completed."

"Our house had developed an intermittent ceiling rain water leak. We requested an inspection, diagnosis, and repair estimate from several BBB-approved local roofing/guttering firms. Cloverfield responded within hours. Their inspection appeared to be very thorough - inside the attic and outside on the roof. We agreed to have them do the repair, and they completed the work that morning."

"I can’t say enough good things about Accredited Roofing. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Their representative Steve was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with. He took the time to explain the process, answered all my questions, and made sure everything was handled smoothly. The restoration team was just as impressive. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, and delivered top-quality workmanship. The attention to detail really stood out, and the final results exceeded my expectations. My property looks amazing, and it’s clear they take pride in their work. If you’re looking for a roofing company you can trust, Accredited Roofing is the real deal. Highly recommend Steve and the entire team!"

Roofing questions, answered by experts

Yes, because it prevents water damage, deters pests from accessing the roof decking, protects the roof from wind damage, and lengthens the roof's life. Plus, building codes require it.

An insulated garage benefits from roof vents to ensure proper ventilation and prevent moisture buildup. Insulation can trap moisture in the garage, especially during temperature fluctuations, and roof vents play a crucial role in expelling the moisture in the air. Including roof vents promotes air circulation, preventing condensation and enhancing overall air quality.

While two-layer torch down roofs are easier to install than three-layer roofing, it is best not to DIY the installation. Torch down roofs require expert knowledge of the application process to get it right the first time and prevent leaks or poor craftsmanship, not to mention that roof work can be dangerous.

Shingle damage comes in many forms, and the damage usually depends on the wind speed and the shape of the roof before the winds. Typically, when shingles are damaged by wind, they become torn, creased, or detached from the roof. Some might go missing entirely. More extensive roof damage might occur if a tree branch or other debris has fallen onto the roof as a result of the windstorm.

Yes, moss can be dangerous for your roof if left in place to grow without treatment. The moss soaks up and holds moisture. Having a constantly damp roof could lead to problems with rot for the parts of the roof that consist of wood. Additionally, a patch of thick moss may draw insects and birds, which could damage the roof. Thick moss could block the roof’s drainage system. Water then may back up after a rainstorm and cause further damage that could eventually lead to roof repair expenses or the cost of roof replacement.
