"Incredible attention to detail. Performed work on time and as described. Friendly, thorough and excellent in providing the work agreed upon. Only issue was follow up contact. Spent over $10,000.00 for project but had difficulty getting response on follow up questions regarding potential issues with concrete work. We still have not had any response to email and phone messages. Very disappointing. We understand that this company is busy with much larger projects, but, would like to hear back on our simple request."

"They did an excellent job! Yard hadn't been mowed for weeks and needed cut badly. They did a great job clearing my leaves. They even cleared my roof of debris for an additional amount. Yard looks great! I would hire again!"

"I needed someone immediately to mow lawn each week for house that I was putting on the market. I live out of state and did not know any lawn maintenance companies and my realtor had been unsuccessful in finding a company that would call back. I found 4C Lawncare on Angiâ s list and reached out to them. 4C Lawncare called me back immediately and mowed my lawn that day and then weekly thereafter until house was sold. A tremendous help particularly because the city was about to mow the yard and that would have been costly. I highly recommend 4 C Lawncare!!"

"Great company to work with. Gave me a very affordable quote and then worked with me to find the time to come out and trim our bushes and trees. Clean up was super detailed, not even a branch on our lawn. Will definitely use again, not just for tree/bush trimming, but additional landscaping needs."

Plant privet hedges at least 1 foot apart in a trench about 2 feet wide and 2 feet deep. It’s important to space privet hedges relatively far apart due to how quickly they grow to significant sizes and heights. You don’t want to crowd privet plants, or they could overcrowd each other, causing unwanted damage.

A scattering of leaves won’t pose a problem through the winter, but a thicker layer of leaves may not decompose before the first frost and can instead weigh down your grass and harbor mold or fungi. A thick layer of leaves also cuts off light and air that grass needs to grow. That’s why we suggest removing thick leaf layers within several days if possible. If your lawn goes dormant over the winter and snow has already caught up with you, then remove the leaves in early spring before your grass-growing season starts so your lawn can thrive.

Yes, you can absolutely transplant bushes instead of removing them completely. The success depends on the size of the bushes, their age, and the transplanting season. Ideally, transplant during the dormant season (late fall or winter). Dig out the entire root system in one piece, fill the new hole with fresh soil and mulch, and water thoroughly after planting.

How much 4 yards of dirt will cover depends on how deep you want the soil to be. In general, a yard of dirt will cover 324 square feet for a 1-inch depth or 100 square feet for a 3-inch depth. Therefore, you can expect 4 yards to cover between 400 and 1,296 square feet if you keep your soil depth between 1 and 3 inches.

The landscaping elements that add the most value are often the basics. A well-maintained, attractive lawn can have a return on investment (ROI) of up to 217%. Routine lawn maintenance, such as edging and mulching, can provide an ROI of over 100%. Other high-value projects include upgrading your front walkway, which can offer a 100% ROI, and planting trees. Projects like adding decks, patios, outdoor lighting, irrigation systems, fire pits, and outdoor kitchens also add value and enjoyment, though their direct financial ROI may be less than 100% in some cases.
