"The pictures do not really show how tedious this job was. These two men, associated with Ask Michael, gave me a quote to rehang a number of my kitchen cabinate doors. They had been badly done prior to my purchase of the house and were failing, to the point of falling off. They purchased the necessary hardware, came back the next day and did the installation. They were on time and worked until the job was finished. Their work quality and concern to get the work done correctly was top drawer. And they were honest, telling me the quote for materials was high, and revising their bill lower. Overall I was very happy and will use them again."

"From the time I went to Carpet Weavers to choose flooring until the job was finished took seven weeks. There was a total lack of communication between the store and the installer. The owner of the installation business was competent, but his employee was not. It was his employee who installed the flooring. The trim is not made by the company that manufactures the flooring. That would have been nice to know before I bought it. It took two weeks to get the flooring. The trim was installed three weeks after the flooring was installed. Not a good match, but the store was satisfied. The contractor had to spend time doing what his employee had not done, such things as affixing the door stops to the floor, attaching the base panel to the dishwasher and securing it and more. It was a miserable seven weeks long process. I will consider having a general contractor match the trim and replace the material that was installed. Right now, I just want my house back. "

"Beware of Feldco. Misleading Sales Tactics. We had windows, siding, gutters, facet, soffiting, and a back door and storm door installed. Salesman stated two payments. 50% down to start the job and remaining due at completion and satisfaction of the jobs. They wanted payment after each job. Workers left two windows unframed with pine shims and spray foam insulation sticking out. Back door lock was installed crooked, bottom weather stripping was ripped up, and worker destroyed my original oak trim around the door and installed white trim in place of it. Siding crew didnt speak english and I came home to them installing insulation board over my existing siding instead of taking old siding off. They were caught not replacing old rotted facet boards and tried installing over rotted out wood. Vinyl trim around the windows was not even. They had to come out three times to caulk the same window. Workers put up new gutters with large black scrape on the front. Sales presentation is recorded, but will not provide a copy of audio to customer."

"Absolutely terrible communication! I had contacted Glass Doctor in regards to replacing a $130 framed mirror that arrived shattered from Amazon during shipment. I explained to the owner that it had arrived broken and that the Amazon seller was reshipping a new mirror. I had questioned whether it was worth replacing, but if it could be done for a reasonable amount I would like to keep from throwing away a beautiful metal frame. Owner stated they agreed, I gave dimensions of mirror and owner stated it would cost $50. I dropped framed mirror off and didn’t hear anything until I called 2 weeks later. Owner stated the mirror was complete and I could pick up. The following morning I went to pick up the mirror. However, owner was not present and when employee went to charge me there was no ticket on the item. The employee called the owner and after some discussion I was told it would cost $120! I stated I could have purchased a new mirror for $130 and that I had been quoted $50 initially. There was zero communication in letting me know that it would cost more than double the initial quote. Had I known I would not have had it replaced. In the end I ended up paying $75, which is still more than I had been quoted, but not the $120 they had tried to charge me. I absolutely will not do business with this company again and will not recommend any company, such as this one, that bait and switch their customers."
