"I want to start off by saying that I have not had the greatest luck hiring people to work on my home. Even with companies who have had great reviews, I have often been left wondering if I was the outlier who got stuck with the B team or did they really earn the rating they received. Not sure if it is due to having such high expectations, but needless to say going into this project I was skeptical. Within hours of my request, Sergio came out and gave me the estimate and we agreed on a fair price. Sergio and his crew, started the work the next morning and worked tirelessly for 3days straight to remove my dead, weed ridden backyard and transform it into a beautiful lush oasis. In addition to the new sod in the backyard, he was able to patch some problematic areas in my front yard and spread some beautiful, premium, coco mulch in all my flowerbeds and areas needing it. When all the work was done he even power washed my patio, walk ways, and driveway leaving it cleaner then when he started. I immediately began receiving complements from all my neighbors, even after the first day when only half the ward was done. I am now so happy and proud of my lawn and cannot wait to have friends and family over for BBQ’s all summer long. "I consider myself as a picky customer so when a contractor meets my expectations, I'm impressed. The team at O'Rourke impressed me with both their professionalism and their results. I was happy with the work they did on my deck and patio. They responded professionally to my "what about this / What about that" questions before, during, and after the process. The only are of improvement I might point out - I would have liked them to communicate better. i.e. perhaps a text message like " weather looks good tomorrow, we are planning to come by in the afternoon." I would hire them again."

"Cesar was awesome to work with. He replaced my old cracked backyard patio and sidewalk. Had a slight issue with one portion of the patio after the work was completed. Cesar was quick to respond and got the issue corrected. You can always judge how good a contractor is when you have an issue, not necessarily when everything runs smooth. "Marygrove Awning was very responsive to my first inquiry. It was mid November when I first contacted them and we we had a very tight time frame that the new awning cover needed to be installed. Our awning is over the front of our business and is in a historic district. We could not have the old retractable frame removed and replaced with a newer type. Understandably , the company could not guarantee their work on the existing frame. Not having a guarantee concerned me but under the circumstance we had no choice. The day of installation was bitterly cold and windy. Two workers showed up on time and worked steadily in the bitter cold on a piece of equipment (our old awning frame) they previously had very little if any experience with. I was very impressed with how well they worked. It works beautifully 8 months later and we are pleased. I highly recommend MaryGrove Awning. If you have an old retractable frame like ours this firm is able to step up and take care of the situation. The two guys who worked that very cold rainy day on a very old piece of equipment should be very proud of the job they did.
