"I have hired Permaseal to fix my unleveled patio concrete floor that was and still causing rain water to get to my basement, I have paid them $2,014.33 as down payment, they showed up one month later for the job, which is injecting foam under the concrete slab to lift it back to its original correct level. I came back home that day to find out that they have left and that the concrete slab was not only still unleveled, but they cracked it and patched it on multiple locations. I have called their customer care number more than a dozen times in attempt to understand what is going on, and on each occasion, I was told that the project manager was going to contact me back, which never happened until i made the next call, They have finally explained to me over the phone that it was the best they could do and that they could not fix my patio floor. I asked for a refund and did not hear back. I have documented pictures of before and after showing that the job was not done and cancelled the check with the remaining balance. I have not heard anything back from them since then, until i started getting debt collectors' emails on December the 5th from a business called FCR Services."

"My loft above my garage was humid and a bit uncomfortable from what I was expecting. I’ve watched enough home repair shows and understand air flow enough to know it would never be perfect, but something was off because of the humidity issues. Mike came in and did an inspection, confirming that there was a lot of room for improvement in the garage ceiling. The heat camera was showing that there was a lot of heat transfer happening in the loft, foot prints (from boots) leaving heat transfer marks which is unusual and recommended dense insulation pack to fill the void. I sat on it for a few weeks, called and scheduled for the 17th, but got in early due to an opening. It took several hours to complete the work, and the folks said it had 5” bat insulation but a 17” void, which confirmed Mike’s original thought that there was a gap between the insulation and the loft floor which was carrying the heat from the outside into the floor."

"Heating season started and my forced air furnace failed. Of course all the HVAC repair companies were backlogged. RCM was available, came within hours, and the problem quickly diagnosed by the repairman (Jeff). The problem? My total bill was $675.00 for two 1 hour visits to replace an inducer motor. The OEM replacement part is $125 on-line. So, $550.00 for two hours of labor? I asked about the apparent high cost and was told was the cost of the part was responsible. When I pointed out the part was available on-line at $125, I was told that RCM has to pay more for a replacement inducer motor than I would. Having worked in the trades in my youth, I've never heard of a contractor paying more than the public. I don't know whether RCM's prices are fair, average or I got shafted, but I do know when I'm being fed a line. My advice is to get your furnace checked well before the season starts."

"The plumbers this company sent to my house did not put the washing machine drain hose back in the drain. We did laundry and flooded the kitchen and damaged some wood flooring. Contacted this company and they said it's on the plumber to fix it. I don't have plumber contacts. They said they would help me get it fixed and did ok at first. It's been over 6 weeks later and no one has done anything. Nothing has been fixed. Everyone has said, including the plumber, this was not our fault, yet no one will fix it! I've asked even for a refund so I can get the floors fixed and again, nothing. This is the company we hired and they just pass the buck. They are not helpful but nice so try to give you hope things will be ok. It's a joke, poor customer care and I will NEVER use them again and wish I could have called around instead of using Home Depots suggestions. "
