My furnace was completely dead - Apex responded extremely fast, and had it running again quickly. Highly recommended!

Apex was not the cheapest but did come down on their initial price to where i felt the extra was worth going with a local company with good references versus an unknown company. There were less desirable shortcuts they could have taken but i noticed that they took the extra effort to do the better way such as not using a saddle valve for the hot water line and making a new side sheet metal panel so the unit fit best in the desired location, etc.

I waited too long before scheduling a clean and check for my furnace, but when I called Apex it was no problem. The woman who helped me on the phone was understanding of my schedule and she provided a few different date choices to schedule the work. I am very grateful that they were so accommodating! He arrived on time and was polite and friendly. He answered my questions and offered easy to understand explanations. I prefer to support local businesses and I am so glad that I found this company on Angie's Listl. I will definitely use again and would recommend.

We were very pleased. Wayne came out and explained to us what needed to be done. It was an old furnace and he told us that it really was too big for the house (120,000 BTUs) and recommended a smaller unit, 70,000 BTUs. We balked at that and he said that we could go to 90,000 but wouldn't go any bigger. He installed a new coil since the old one was probably 35 years old. He and Matt checked the air conditioner too while they were here. They got the job done quickly and the big point for us was that when he came out, he said he could install the furnace the next day since the old one was no longer working. We'll certainly be using Apex in the future.

During the inspection, Wayne taught us how to open and close the screws on the dampers to control the air flow. He gave us lots of great tips, and discussed both zoning and air purification with us. Wayne was extremely knowledgeable and professional. What I really liked about Wayne is that he did more than just the inspection, he also educated us about how the heating and cooling system works in general. He had a wonderful friendly disposition, and it was delightful talking to him. If we decide to go with the zoning or air purification, we will definitely call Wayne!

Wayne removed our old furnaces and installed 2 Carrier high efficiency furnaces . I told him I preferred to have 5 inch filters instead of the 1 inch filters that were on the previous furnaces but there wasn't enough space between the furnaces to accommodate 5 inch filters. Wayne was able to raise the furnaces and build boxes under the furnaces to hold the 5 inch filters instead. He and his son (also Wayne) did a very professional installation job.

The quality of the windows was outstanding. They are triple pane glass and high energy rating value. The sales person was professional and followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. The installation of the windows was expertly done with minimal clean up required by us. We were extremely pleased with everything done by Apex Energy and would recommend them to friends and family.

For the past several years I used a local service and realized unethical happenings! This APEX ad came up from Angie's List and I wanted a furnace check before the Winter. There was a basic fee advertised, so I signed on with some wonderings.The appointment was for early in the day and they called. It was delayed until after 5:00 p.m.! I was not about to cancel and start the process over again. So I thought that I would accept the delay and get the work completed. The service person did spend a long time checking the system and told me the humidifier was not included!
It has been in past service calls, as it is an integral part of the system. Then the serviceman tested a part to the furnace operation and showed me what it low, noting the norm. So I agreed to replace that part. He offered me a contract, which would give a small discount. I was not that impressed with the overall costs in that this was a promotion. Clearly not a competitive offer, so I would not sign on with APEX. In the overall scheme of the HVAC business, I was not impressed enough to extend the service.

Wayne Sr. & Jr. are very professional, prompt and know heating and A/C. We have used this company for years. They have replaced 2 furnaces and A/C units within the past 3 years and we feel the pricing was fair, the work was done when promised and they cleaned and removed all old units and supplies when the job was finished. I would hire them again and have referred them to many family members. All of us agree that they are the only company we would call for this work. This is an exceptional company with years of experience that can only benefit the consumer.

This company came in at a great price - I'd gotten a quote for a lesser quality furnace for $5,000 from another company. This company was really great. I was without heat, and the father (Wayne) said that they could come out that afternoon to see why we didn't have heat. The son (also Wayne) was knowledgeable - he crawled into a tiny crawlspace (with NO complaining!) and made a recommendation to put the furnace in the next day. They worked all day long, and it's working beautifully. I'd recommend them to anybody and everybody. They were polite and cleaned up after themselves. They showed up on time, too. They went over and above the call of duty. Something was leaking from the bathroom onto the old furnace and they put in a protective plate to keep it from leaking onto the new furnace.
