"After receiving several estimates for the work ranging from $2,500 to over $15,000, I decided to proceed with JC & Son Masonry. Greg provided the initial estimate and his attention to detail, professionalism, and friendly / low-pressure demeanor impressed us from the beginning. He spent an hour walking around the property and noting the areas needing repair, took many pictures, and explained the scope of the work. He provided a detailed estimate with pictures and also made some helpful recommendations to address a drainage issue near our garage. When the time came to perform the work, Greg and his brother, Jake, sent their crew of skilled professionals, who showed up early every day exactly when they said they would, worked long hours (even in the summer heat), and did quality repairs. After the repairs were completed, Greg performed a "quality control" walk-through and noted a few areas needing touch up, which his crew promptly addressed the following week. I am very happy with work and would hire JC & Son Masonry again without hesitation. Greg and Jake run an old school (in a good way) family business that takes pride in performing quality masonry work. Highly recommended!"

"I had some major work done on my house this year and I went back to someone I trusted: Eddie, Manny and Mike from E&B Masonry. They did a porch project for me in 2018 and it was great. I used them again. They gave me a good price, but I also knew that they would get the job done right. They included me on each decision and checked with me through out the project. I had roofing repairs on my parapet wall where the previous owner had roofed over the limestone causing water building up. During this they found damaged bricks. They took pictures and video to show me what they needed to do. Then they did work on the outside wall where someone else I hired failed to do the tuckpointing. Finally, they installed all new concrete sidewalks from front to back and side to side. This included stairs going down to the basement. They had to pitch the concrete in creative ways and added a new drain to handle additional water. It looks fantastic. I am hiring them to do some additional jobs as well."

I called & found out the email telling me a different start date was sent to a wrong email address. They had a completely different customers work order under my name & it took several conversations with them for them to realize this. So most of the information I was given for the first half of the job was incorrect, late, or non existent. I had to call my town to confirm their work passed the initial inspection & call Blue Construction to tell them before they would continue work. They did take $200 off the balance due because of all the issues & that was appreciated. The quality of work is really good. I am extremely pleased with the end result but I don't think I will use them again because of how bad the communication was. Also, I had to call my town after the work was completed to schedule."
