I started my business in 1977 and have always taken great pride in my work and given very fair prices. I specialize in residential and commercial interior painting & wallpapering. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to giving each and every one of my customers excellent workmanship, and honesty. I believe that is what has kept me in business for 45 years with the majority of my business being repeat customers or referrals. Drywall Service
I recently had a family room repainted by J&J Decorating. This included ceiling, walls & trim .. including a french door. One wall and a ceiling area had a problem from built up candle soot. The project also included removing an old can light & patching the hole. J&J Decoraring did an excellent job, in a timely fashion, for a reasonable price. You cannot go wrong selecting J&J Decorating for your next project!

Amazing. John and his team were always on time and the work performed was nothing short of perfect and they finished in the agreed upon timeframe. They never tried to nickel and dime us for additional work, and when I asked them to do some additional work, they always offered a very fair price. On top of that, they left our home and floors immaculately clean. John is a pro who is pleasant to work with.

John, his son, and their service were spectacular. We had recently moved into a home that required the two-story foyer to be stripped of wall paper and painted. John worked within his original pricing range, repaired some water damage we were previously unaware of, and did it all quietly, within the timeline and budget. Since then, we've had them back to paint a few other rooms, repair some drywall damage by another contractor, refinish our wood stair case, and we'll be having them back again to do some drywall repair and painting. For all of that, they work for reasonable prices as well. You can't go wrong with J & J Decorating.

John and JD were consummate professionals who answered every phone call, accommodated us before a deadline, and arrived on time on the days agreed upon--which was a trick because of our changing schedules. One favorite thing about their work was that their edging was very straight and clean which was very important to us! They were kind, polite, quiet (my husband works from home and is on the phone a lot), and they cleaned up nicely before leaving both non-consecutive days. We were thrilled with the result. We highly recommend them!

I definitely was not the easiest customer as I had to re-schedule several times due to my closing getting pushed back but John was always very accommodating and very easy going. I had almost my entire house painted, it was done quickly, flawlessly and we were able to stay within my budget. I plan on using them again in the future for other projects. The lines are tight and we are very pleased with the finished work. Easy. Reliable. Congenial. Basically they are now Family! John and his son were fantastic! They worked with us on our schedule since we needed to spread out the time frame for payment and for holidays, etc. They helped us decide how to do certain features, such as chair rails, crown molding, etc. They helped us select accent walls and colours that matched nicely. They were able to remove wallpaper that the previous owners had painted over, they always apprised me of issues that could add to cost or that required me to make a choice, and they worked neatly and cleanly. I was easily able to work from home even while they were painting. They even fixed some doors for us. Because of our timeline, they worked with us over 1-1/2 years! I was rather sad when the last room was done - but super happy with the gorgeous rooms and trim! I would recommend them for all your interior painting needs. They also gave us great referrals for our window treatments and I am glad we contacted them first when looking for a painter. You can’t go wrong with them!!

They submitted a verbal quote. They arrived on the day we mutually agreed on. Work was finished in a timely manner. There was a little extra time and material, about $50. After they found a soft spot in the wall that required some drywall removal. My wife supervised all their work.

I had a great experience with John. It was a bit difficult to get anything scheduled, since my project was so small but I didn't have any sort of deadline I wanted to meet, so it worked out well. John provided me with a quote over the phone and let me know how much wallpaper to purchase. One of his other jobs ended early so he gave me a call and we scheduled a time for him to come over and put up my wallpaper. He arrived on time and got the work done in less than 3 hours. It looks great and he even gave me tips for painting the wallpaper later (I chose a textured paintable wallpaper that I will paint later). I had a great experience and would hire John again.
