"

We wanted can lighting in our guest bedroom but he said he could not do it with the current attic set up. So, he installed two new track lighting systems. He recommended LED. They do look better, but I'm overall not crazy about them. It basically took the whole day to install plus I had to go out and buy the "very expensive lights". Not necessarily his fault, but still disappointing.

"He did an excellent job.  It turned out to be more work than originally estimated to replaced the kitchen light with 2 recessed lights. He was very professional and did outstanding work.  I would hire him in the future for any other electrical needs.

"Javier was tremendous....I couldn't give a higher recommendation.  I think this is an industry that allows for people to be taken advantage of...Javier is not one of those people....extremely fair pricing.  Javier and his partner Jorge spend three hours putting together our light fixture that went over the dining room table.  He charged us for the "job" and not per hour....again EXTREMELY fair pricing....you don't have to worry about getting taken to the cleaners.

Benchmark was punctual, and repaired the broken spring on the 16x8 overhead door. informed them that one of the lights was not

working on the opener. They checked it out and repaired the socket. Greased and adjusted all doors. They were very professional

and the total job did not take them more than one hour.

"The job became more complex than originally thought because a previous fan installation had included some unusual wiring. This was probably why my previous fan had burned out. The electricians straightened out the wiring and the new fan/light works well. I would not hesitate to hire these electricians again."

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

For a 10-by-10-foot room, you’ll usually need between four and six recessed lights. However, this is a general figure because each space is different. In addition to your room’s square footage, it’s also important to consider other factors, like the purpose of the recessed lights. If they’ll serve as ambient lighting, you’ll need more lights than you would if you were using them for accent lighting.

It’s usually safe to use old lamps, but you should check the components first for signs of damage, including fraying wires, damaged wire insulation, and loose wire connections.

If you're unsure of a lamp’s age or have an antique lamp, it’s a good idea to have a lamp repair technician rewire it. This investment will ensure the electrical components are safe to use, reducing the risk of an electrical emergency.

It is possible to change a light fixture by only flipping the light switch, but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Exercising extra caution when working with electricity is always important. Take the extra few minutes at your electrical box to cut the power at the circuit breaker. Once you’ve flipped the circuit breaker and the light switch, use a voltage tester to confirm the power has been turned off.

Yes, it is possible to hang a chandelier without wiring, but it depends on the design of both the chandelier and your ceiling. Many homeowners use plug-in pendant lights, adhesive hook and cord pendants, or nonelectrical light sources to hang a chandelier without wiring.

Wiring or installing a light the wrong way can lead to potentially dangerous scenarios, including shock and even electrical fires. If you’re the least bit uncertain whether you’ve wired something correctly, the best and safest approach is to call in a professional electrician to handle the installation for you.
