"I needed to have the windows replaced on my house appoximately 22 windows and 2 patio doors.

  I looked into several organizations and searched angies list.  I saw several very good reviews on EXCEL windows so I choose them as one of the companies to bring in for estimates

I thought since EXCEL was based on the south side of the Chicago Land area, that they might have a hard time coming to our house for the estimate.  But once Steve arrived I was completely suprised.  Steve assured me that my location was no problem at all and from there EXCEL did quite an excellent Job.  

EXCEL worked around my schedule, they were always so professional and courteous, and offerred financing to fit my budget. Chris the owner assured me several times that EXCEL would take of everything, and they did.  When an issue arouse between the town and how the windows needed to be placed due to easement requirements by the village, Chris stepped in and gave me a couple of options that he would cover at no expense to me!!!   He worked with the manufacturer and the village to take care of the problem.  Then when it came time for the installation, EXCEL was there again on time and worked around my schedule. 

Their installation team was ontime each morning and worked with me.  They would always make sure things were cleaned up each day and that when they finished the job that I was happy with the result.  The job ended up being 6 days and went very smooth

I can't recommend any organization higher than EXCEL.  In fact, I have decided to purchase my front door from EXCEL as well.

"I had 3 estimates and Mr Handyman was in the middle price wise.  Based on Angie List reviews and interactions with Mr Handyman (MH) I elected MH for the job.  I have a 1920 garage and it still has the original siding.  The garage probably has a few years left on it based on the siding condition, but MH promised they could work some magic.  Bill exceeded my expectations on the garage.  This truly was a case of maximizing all of Bill's painting skills to get the garage look so great.

Also, I appreciate Wayne the owner taking the time to come out to my house to discuss some special concerns I had prior to the garage being painted.  He put me at ease that everything would turn out as promised.  As I told him in a personal email most companies would have dismissed my concerns and go about the job the way the company thought best , but not my approach,  Thus, I would definetly use MH again due to their superior work, personal approach, and commitment to client satisfaction.
