I asked Mike how many gallons I would need and he told me I have to sign the contract first. It felt like he thought I was trying to pull a fast one on him, but that was not the case at all. If that’s how you do business then I will go elsewhere which I did. I had a new contractor the same day and you lost out on a job you would oh had. As far as I’m concerned this was a bad business decision since there are a lot of contractors looking for businesses"

The life span of paint on shutters depends on factors like paint quality, climate, and maintenance. High-quality exterior paint applied correctly can last 5 to 10 years. In mild climates with less extreme weather, paint may endure longer. However, exposure to harsh sunlight, rain, and temperature fluctuations can lead to more frequent repainting. Regular cleaning, maintenance, and timely repainting when signs of wear or fading appear can help extend the life of paint on shutters and maintain their appearance.

Use a roller with a high nap to paint into the textured dips and cover the raised sections of your walls without leaving any sections uncovered. After applying paint using the high-nap roller, you use a paintbrush to cover any missed spots. Applying two or three coats of paint using this method should provide plenty of coverage.

In most cases, humidity above 70% is considered too high to paint in. Humid conditions will slow the paint’s drying process, which increases the risk of drips and other imperfections. Moisture on the walls is also one of the biggest reasons for bubbles in your paint and poor adhesion, so you’ll get an overall better finish if you maintain humidity under 70%.
