Hello im rick im a welder at heart and do it every day i do have a small welder for small jobs of all kinds .but i guess u can say im like a jack of all trades but master of none but im pretty good at most of the things i do from painting inside and outsides of houses to landscaping lil bricck work .just ask and if i feel comfortable doing what you need ill be sure happy to get it done for you..

You can use either paint thinner or mineral spirits to clean paint brushes, but both have distinct advantages. You can apply stain over peeling stain, but it’s not a good idea. Your old stain will get in the way of your new stain bonding to the wood, so you’re likely going to see the same issue again shortly after application. Your best option is to sand off the old stain and clean the surface thoroughly before applying new stain.

In most cases, humidity above 70% is considered too high to paint in. Humid conditions will slow the paint’s drying process, which increases the risk of drips and other imperfections. Moisture on the walls is also one of the biggest reasons for bubbles in your paint and poor adhesion, so you’ll get an overall better finish if you maintain humidity under 70%.

In some cases, you may be able to skip the primer and paint over old paint. If you’re painting over paint that’s in good condition and is a similar color and finish to the new paint, you probably don’t need to use primer. If the old paint is dark or uneven or the wall has stains or damage, you’ll want to apply primer before a new coat of paint.
