"We had a complete remodel of our master bathroom. I came up with the overall plan and Mark (owner) of Modern View provided recommendations on where to go to select cabinets, quartz countertop, tile and faucets. John performed most of the work and his tile work was great. Took about 3 weeks and all the work was completed as agreed upon. Very happy with our remodeled master bathroom."

"

CCCM did our kitchen 14 years ago so when we decided to do our 2 bathrooms back to back, we didn't hesitate to contact Terry.

We have heard of several contractors who require a deposit before beginning a project.  We did not pay CCCM anything until all the work was done.

This project went exceptionally well.  They finished the first bathroom on a Friday and gave us the weekend to make sure no tweaks were needed before gutting the second bathroom on Monday.

Terry and Jody opened up the shower area by removing the existing soffit.  They suggested we go with a no frame glass door and fixed panel to make the most of the space.  The difference from the old shower is amazing.

When we ran into a building code issue with relocating the drain, they were very concerned about the best and most cost effective way to handle the issue.  They made every effort to minimize the cost of both parts and labor.

Everyone who worked on this project was very professional and very pleasant.  Terry and Jody consistently checked on the progress and asked if we were happy with the way things were going.

When I needed a sample of the granite remnant I chose for the vanity top in order to choose a paint color, Terry contacted the supplier right away and I was able to pick up the sample very quickly.  He was also able to negotiate a fantastic price for the top.

We are extremely satisfied with the work done on this and our other bathroom!  We have had multiple compliments on how nice they look.

"Kyle. I think his name was, was fantastic. He wasn't comfortable with diagnosis s ok he called for 2nd opinion that was confirmed. He took a step further and did a water test and it was fine. He started looking at fairly new water heater. He then noticed a old water filter sitting on water heater leaking. Thanks to him his free estimate turned out saving me at least $1200. Thanks Kyle"

Percolation Tests questions, answered by experts

If you think you’ve touched asbestos, do not put on a mask. This is important because you may take the asbestos fibers on your hands on trap them in the mask. Make your way to a sink and wash your hands thoroughly. Remove any clothes and seal them in a bag, then take a shower. Call your doctor and let them know you’ve been exposed to asbestos, and make sure you see them as soon as possible. The reason you keep the clothes is in case anyone wants to confirm the presence of asbestos.

Yes, even a single, one-time exposure to asbestos can be harmful and increase the risk of future illness, including certain diseases and cancers. The level of risk depends on several factors, such as the concentration and intensity of the exposure. A small, brief exposure is less likely to cause significant damage than an exposure to a high concentration of asbestos fibers.

The likelihood of developing severe health issues increases with repeated or prolonged exposure. Individual reactions to asbestos vary; some people may have multiple exposures without harm, while others are more susceptible. Asbestos-related illnesses may not manifest for 10 to 40 years after inhalation.

Due to these risks, it is crucial to take precautions. Personal protective equipment (PPE) may not offer complete protection, as fibers can get through small gaps. The EPA recommends hiring a professional for testing and removal if you suspect the presence of asbestos in your home. If you are concerned about a potential exposure, consult your doctor.

Knob and tube wiring is an older type of electrical wiring that's no longer used and generally not considered safe. However, some homes still have it, or may have a knob and tube wiring system that was incorrectly modified or rigged to work with a modern electrical system. Knob and tube wiring may contain asbestos insulation, but the only way to know is to have the material professionally tested.

Testing is crucial to identify harmful asbestos fibers common in building materials from older properties, ensuring safe environments and health.

Since DIY asbestos removal isn’t the best option to save money, there are other steps that you can take to help cut costs when dealing with this project. After speaking with your asbestos removal expert, discuss if encapsulation is an option. If it is, you can save between 15% to 25% on overall project costs over demolition and disposal. In addition, when speaking with your professional, discuss if there are any tax credits available for your removal project. Finally, check with your homeowner’s insurance to see if any removal costs might be covered. However, be aware that this is usually only applicable if the asbestos is due to a covered incident, like a tree falling into your roof.
