We have used Exposition Carpet for several carpet installations over many years in our finished basement, and have consistently found the best pricing, ease of schedule and quality installation thru them. I especially like that it's a family business and you are dealing directly with owners and not with a salesman that doesn't even know who his/her boss is. The installers have worked their for years and that says a lot.

After going through a back porch remodel enclosing to a mudroom, we wanted a pet friendly, water resistant and durable floor so we went with vinyl plank. The store had many options, and time frame to get material was within a week. We checked out a 'sale' prior at a trendy well known Lincoln Avenue store, only to be met with double the cost and attitude. So we ended up back at Exposition and it was a done deal within 2 weeks.

I thought I had reviewed them on AL, but realized I hadn't when the list asked if members had any feedback.

"Arkadia Floorings (Mike Osan Mircea) has done a wonderful job of installing lvp in our basement. He is extremely meticulous , worked at a steady pace and completed the job with utmost care. He pulled out the carpets and cleanly packed them for easy disposal. Then he made the basement floor look really new without any costs overrun. The thresholds, shoe base installs, etc were done to tidy up further. For stairs going down to the basement , he pulled the rug out and there were hardwood stairs already. He resurfaced and stained with a color that matched the lvp. This actually reduced our costs . Towards the end of our job , he took extra time to clean up, vacuum and really leave the home slick n span. He also took care of a few extras - like cleaning up /buffing up some parts of existing wood floors elsewhere in the house, all for no extra cost."
