"Hired Jason to come a couple of days prior to the removal of old and installation of new kitchen countertop. Kitchen cabinet was an appliance garage that interfered with countertop installation. Countertop installers would not touch cabinets due to liability issues. I spoke to Jason on the phone and explained what I needed done and the timing of it. Jason scheduled a couple days prior to countertop install to remove the cabinets and scheduled the day after to reinstall the cabinets. Jason showed up on-time both days to do the job. However, because of the difference in thickness between the old and new countertops there were gaps at the bottom and sides of the cabinet. Since my wife didn't really want the bottom part of the cabinet (appliance garage) anyway, I ask Jason if it was possible to cut off the bottom and make it match up with the other cabinets so I didn't have to buy all new cabinets. He said he could easily do it and it would look nice and line up with the other cabinets and we would not know that the bottom was cut off. He needed to come back another day with the proper tools and saw. I agreed and he rescheduled to come back. He arrived again on-time and started modifying the cabinet and reinstall it. When he was done it looked great. More importantly, when my wife returned from work that evening and saw the completed work she was so excited how nice it all looked. So great job Jason and thanks!"

"I am writing as the board president of Providence Gardens Condominiums in St. Louis. We entered into a contract with Chesterfield Fence and Deck (CF&D) in 2018 to remove and replace 38 decks and to update two others. We are very pleased with CF&D's work quality, professionalism and communication. The decks are strong, look terrific and will virtually eliminate the maintenance our prior wood decks required. While we did experience a few issues over the course of the project, CF&D resolved them properly, professionally and in a timely manner. CF&D really continually strived to please us. "Mr. Hoover came to measure, brought back a sample of the material that he recommended so that we could see what the finished product would look like.  He gave us an estimate which was lower than the other estimate we received.  I was concerned that the framing which was available would not fit the style of our home. He said that the framing would not show from the inside if he worked from the outside on a ladder installing the new screens from the outside.   He built the frames for the new screens at our home.  He worked on a ladder outside and did all the work from the outside so that the framing did not show from the inside.  I am very happy with his work.  He cleaned the work area and hauled away all the old screens.  I have already hired him for another project.

I also told my neighbor about him.  She hired him to fix some doors that were leaking.  She was extremely happy with him as well and said she would definitely hire him again.
