"Excellent. Kevin figured out the problem with the sliding patio door quickly considering you couldn't visually see the Christmas Decoration that somehow got trapped under the sliding door. He also fixed a crooked sliding closet door and rubber weatherstripping on an interior garage door. He was fantastic and will use him again. No doubt!"

"I purchased two awnings from homedepot and was looking for an installer. Ivan and his team-mate did a good job in taking down my existing awnings and replacing them with the new ones I had purchased. They were even accommodating when I wanted to sand and paint the underlying wood to which one of the awnings was going to be mounted; while they worked on the other awning. There were a few hiccups of not having the right size drillbit and tools since the awnings were atypical. But, Ivan managed to find the parts at ace and with some help from my neighbor, all was well! The new awnings look great!"

"Highly recommend DCD fencing. Tony was fast and very responsive throughout the process. His team provide same-day quote in person and made our storm-damaged fence a top priority for repairs. "ALL SERVICE CALLS exceeded our expectations & provided excellent & prompt work at our home. From the timely, prompt & fair estimate to setting an appointment within 2 days, we were pleased with their labor. The team arrived on Thursday early & completed the work of clearing our trees & overgrowth within 4 hours. They also hauled away the debris. I plan to hire them again as for a few other projects as trees/landscaping is just one aspect of what they do. SIMPLY AWESOME. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL SERVICE CALLS LLC."

"Roman is very detailed and knowledgeable. I've never had a contractor who tried that hard to understand the job even before coming for a quote. Very easy to get a hold of as well which is rare for contractors from this site. Would highly recommend."

"Amazing experience! Great communication and professionalism. Scheduling was so easy, and they showed up exactly on time (even a few minutes early!). They were able to accommodate a specific window last minute. They installed a picture frame light and built an outside patio storage in the same visit, and ALSO helped move a rug from under the bed. I have used many services in the past and am blown away by the professionalism and customer service with this set of folks. Will be reusing many times in the future !"

My name is Gabriel Taylor. I attended Colombia College with a Bachelor of Arts. Upon graduation, i entered the advertising world fabricating models and props for t.v. and print ads. My knowledge of tools expanded greatly. Having always been handy, this fine tuning of shop skills led me to realize that there's much more job availability in home repair/ remodeling/ etc. Now, with 25 years of experience under my thumb, there is little that i haven't come across in the world of trade work. From electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, locksmithing, tile, etc., i always deliver quality results with a strong artistic awareness and touch. Caring for the customers wants and needs is primary. I believe in giving them exactly what i would want in a skilled worker in my home. Pole Barn Builders questions, answered by experts

The most significant expense when building a barndominium is constructing the metal shell, which includes the roof, doors, and windows. Additional exterior components impacting the overall cost include metal siding and the concrete foundation.

Whether it is better to buy or build a chicken coop depends on your priorities, primarily cost versus time and effort. Building your own chicken coop can be significantly more budget-friendly, often costing about half as much as buying a pre-made one. If you have the time and skills, building a coop from scratch is the most economical option. However, if your time or skills are limited, buying a kit and hiring a handyperson to assemble it can be more cost-effective than hiring a carpenter to build a custom coop from scratch. If you want a perfectly constructed coop without sacrificing your own time and energy, buying one is the easiest choice.

Rather than using a common two-by-four piece of wood for a rafter, you probably will use two-by-six, two-by-eight, two-by-ten, or even two-by-twelve boards. Wider lumber is typically a better choice in a larger building as it provides more sturdiness. Some installers may use wider lumber for rafters near the edges of the roof, where the greatest stress occurs, and save money with narrower lumber toward the middle.

Concrete blocks are the cheapest way to base a shed. However, the space in between allows critters to go under, burrow, and even damage your shed’s frame. For a more pest-proof option, consider building a shed base with gravel or paver stones. Both options are fairly affordable and easy enough for a DIY project. For gravel, you can build a wooden frame to contain the loose material.

It is almost always more affordable to buy an existing home than to build a new one. Building a home involves numerous costs, including labor, permits, inspections, utility hookups, and brand-new materials, finishes, and appliances. Additionally, new construction loans can have higher interest rates than traditional mortgages, and property taxes on new homes are often higher, increasing long-term costs. An exception is a DIY house build, which can be cheaper than buying an existing home if you do the labor yourself. While building is generally more expensive, a new custom home offers complete control over the layout and design. Furthermore, new construction is typically worth more than a comparable pre-owned home and may provide a better return on investment if sold quickly.
