"Terrence Spranger was my plumber. His quote was fair. He was on time to the job. He replaced my hot water tank and shut off valve. He suggested placing a tray under the tank that has a drain hose just in case the new tank eventually leaks then it won’t run all over my basement. He had the model and serial numbers added to my receipt for insurance purposes. He was very personable and put the customer first. He went beyond what was expected of him to do. Thank you"

"First of all this small business BEAT ALL OTHER QUOTES! Felicia, the operations manager, made me feel welcome and coordinated the techs schedules with mine with ease. She is a rockstar. Blendi and Filip came to install a new flange for my toilet, ejector pump and outdoor spigot. The job was done in a timely manner with great work and professionalism. I would highly recommend this company. Easy save in the contact list. Will use them forever. Ryan"

"Andy was amazing from beginning to end. Showed up on time for the estimate, answered all my questions and gave a very fair estimate. Came back a week later to do the work (snake drain and replace elbow in water pipe). Work was done quickly and cleanly. Couldn t be happier! Will definitely hire again."

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

When you put baking soda and vinegar down the drain, they chemically react and help break down clogs. It’s not going to work for every type of clog, however. For example, it’s not the best way to get rid of grease buildup. For grease, you should try boiling water and white vinegar instead.

Yes, you can use hydrogen peroxide to unclog a drain. Instead of using a baking soda and vinegar solution, you can use baking soda with hydrogen peroxide. The process to unclog a drain is the same as with vinegar, but use 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide instead.

Yes, continuing to flush a clogged toilet is not likely to break up the clog. Instead, it will continue to put pressure on the clog while filling the bowl with more water, which can potentially cause the toilet to overflow—leading to an even bigger mess. Rather than repeatedly flushing, use a toilet plunger or plumber’s snake to dislodge the clog.

Simple blockages can be cleared using household plungers or manual snakes, provided no severe plumbing issues exist.

Although linear drains allow water to flow quickly and efficiently, they tend to clog more easily than traditional drains. Linear drains are flush with the shower floor, allowing soap scum and hair to potentially build up. They’re also longer than other drains, allowing for more space to let debris fall into the drainpipe.
