"Overall very happy with our experience with 4Ever Remodeling. They took our completely unfinished 1920s basement and created an in-law suite with extra-large bath. They were great at handling the City of Chicago permit process, which was one of my biggest concerns. Work included: Rebuilding basement stairs (sturdiest stairs I've ever seen). Adding a full bath with jetted tub, two-person shower, tile, all new plumbing including ejector pump. New exterior windows to comply with egress codes (really impressed with the exterior brickwork - you can't tell at all that any changes were made. They matched the grout and design perfectly). Installation of a large wet bar with dishwasher, shelving, quartz counters and cabinetry. Cabinets are very high quality. HVAC for basement and they extended the AC throughout first floor as well. Lighting, flooring, drywall, insulation etc. Highlights: Particularly impressed with their carpenter who did gorgeous, perfectly aligned work. Their designer, Magda was very helpful in guiding us and helping make selections (we've never done a project anywhere near this scope before). Communication was very clear and responsive. Workspace was immaculate at the end of every day. As with any project of this size there were a few nits: Their electrical team was slow to address a few concerns the inspector had and they disabled an outlet on the first floor. Granted, they were given an absolute trash mess of wiring to start out with. Also, the bathroom painter did not cover the tub when painting the ceiling, and I had to spend some time scraping flecks of paint off with a credit card. Those minor issues aside, I feel confident the project was done right, everyone that sees it absolutely gushes about the result, and I'm jealous that my in-law kitchen and bath are nicer than my own on our first floor! I'd definitely use 4Ever again (and in fact are considering a second project right now)."

"I’ve always wanted a second bathroom. I contacted JK Complete R&C. Jack came to my home and assessed the would be project. Jack gave me a reasonable price, start and proposed finish date. Then I met the crew John, Mike and Ziggy. We had a great relationship. Everything that was to be accomplished was explained to me on a daily bases. By the end of the project we had a bond and it felt like family. I also learned quite a bit in the process. I am total fascinated with my new bathroom. I have already recommended JK Complete to family members."

"They were awesome. Went above and beyond. The price never changed. They were clean and meticulous and wanted to make sure we were happy. I even decided I wanted a bigger tub after he brought in the original one and I had him take it back. They did not complain or charge me more for the work. They are honest hard working, I can’t say enough positive things. The only negative and not really because it was Christmas time was a slight delay. To make up for that they wanted to work weekends and holidays as well. Pick them you won’t be disappointed."

"Wow, where do I begin, well let's start with Sam responded quickly and came on time for the inital onsite estimate. During our walk thru, I explained exactly what I needed done. He then presented an estimate quickly (which I was impressed). He was also able to work around my work schedule to fit me in, much appreciated so, so far so good. We'll, I spoke too soon! The day he arrived q/19/2021 @ 8am (on time) it went down hill. Meaning, he seemed angry, hostile and nothing like the inital estimate. DIL, if he had a bad morning and didn't have his coffee but he was very moody.l to say the least. He came in (not speaking) or explaining where he was going to start 1st and began to install a toliet and new vanity in my LL Powder room. He installed it and while he was coming upstairs to start the shower base (in the master bath) I asked him how it went with the 'LL install. He then said, "well, there's a small hairline leak in the back of the toliet". I than said, "why didn't you tell me for I have 2 new toliet in the garage?" He didn't answer and began to start working on the 2nd bath tub. Let me say, I'm remodeling my home so it's gutted and redo the two baths and kitchen. With that, after he finished the other 2 bathrooms he said he's use one of the new toliet and replace the old one cuz it was missing a part anyway. I found that he opened one of the new toliet boxes (without asking or telling me. Took a part from one of the new toliet to apply to the older one he had already installed. This guy was a nightmare to say the least! Who does that? Come on, don't you think I would need that same part for the new one? It was luck that he exchanges the old one for a new one and could use the same part! Ugh, I also ran to the store to pick up parts he needed (I offered and didn't mind) but when I asked him if he had a bucket tonrun water diwn both drains he just installed he looked at me like I was "ASKING TOO MUCH" but I insisted to ensure there weren't any leaks (which there weren't) THANK GOD! He was very unprofessional, disrespectful and to be quite honest arrogant. I just wanted him to leave and never hire him again for the rest of the work he quoted. I should have listened to the warning when he said he wasn't busy for sometime and sitting at home. I now understand why cuz he's mean and unprofessional and good Handyman are busy. Lesson learned and don't hire this "moody dude" there's someone better out there I promise and I will find him/her the next time. Consider yourslef warned! GOOD LUCK!"

He consulted me often when changes needed to be made to the prints. Great communication during the whole project. He works excellent with DYI'ers like myself. "We researched several kitchen restoration companies and finally selected 3 of them to give us estimates for painting our outdated oak cabinets in the kitchen and master bathroom. The price ranged widely among the 3 companies. One estimate was extremely high. GG Kitchen Restorations was the cheapest estimate however, once we had each company come out and had them explain what they were going to do it was very evident that GG Restorations was going to be a one-stop shop for us to get everything done as we needed and with high quality workmanship. We did have a couple of extra small issues in the cabinets that needed to be fixed prior to the painting prep could start and the other 2 companies would either charge us a huge amount to do a drastic re-design which really wasn’t needed or said they wouldn’t do that type of work and left it up to us. GG Restorations was more than willing to help us get past these small barriers and get our dream kitchen to our specifications at a reasonable cost. Frank and his team were great. Frank is very pleasant and fun to work with and he takes the time to really get to know what you want. Chris and Tim, that did the work in the house, did excellent work, and they never left a mess. Our kitchen and bathroom look great and what a transformation from old to a modern look. We highly recommend GG restorations to anyone."
