Andrew was great! From the initial measurement appointment through the installation, Andrew put me at ease. He complimented our choice for quartz, and assured me that he & his guys could get a 10 foot piece up our condo building back stairs (2 flights). This was key since other contractors said they'd have to get a crane or seam the long piece to do the install.

Andrew and his crew arrived right on time. They immediately got to work removing kitchen drawers, disconnecting the plumbing and removing the old countertops. Four strong guys were able to carry up the 10 foot piece without any issues (BRAVO!). Placed the pieces, cut an edge of the quartz where our wall was crooked, glued things down, installed the under-mount sink, cleaned up...All within 2 HOURS! My husband and I were very impressed!

Job was flawless.  Workers were very meticulous.  We moved in a year ago and he did our kitchen countertops.  It was more but it was custom order.  But very reasonable.  Less than many others.  The kitchen and baths look great.  I have had so many compliments.  Would definitely hire again

So many positives about this experience. Andrew was thorough and patient in helping us to decide counter edges, Quartz options and other details about the countertop size. He met at our home twice - once to scope out the project and then came back after we accepted his proposal to review our decisions and remeasure. We were totally confident in SAI after these meetings and not at all disappointed. Beautiful work, extremely pleased. Also, we appreciated Andrew's flexibility to meet us after 5pm, so we did not need to schedule time off from work. The installation crew was on time, efficient and neat. Another plus is that SAI will drill faucet and soap dispenser holes onsite, so we were able to say exactly where to position these items. We are having SAI fabricate a bathroom countertop with the leftover Quartz.

Andrew and his team were professional, courteous and the work is very solid.  Andrew was responsive throughout the process and patient with our requests.  The work done was quality and priced fairly.
We had two VERY minor issues the day after the install and Andrew sent somebody over the next morning to fix those issues.  Even after payment, Stone Age was there to complete the job to our satisfaction.
Great service, fair pricing and quality work.  We'll look to Andrew and Stone Age again should we remodel our baths/kitchen in our current and future homes.

Andrew came on a weekend to measure for the countertop. I explained that the contractor would have to wait to install the sink until the counter was installed. I was so happy he was able to do the job in such a short time. It was all finished in 5 days. He had a huge selection to choose from in quartz . He even took the sink with him to be sure the hole was drilled correctly. The counter is beautiful. It was installed perfectly.

They were very competitively priced. They did a great job, professional, clean, and polite. The only problem and delay was getting Andrew to come out and give me an estimate in the first place.  Once I signed the contract with him, I had the counters installed within a week.

He was very good. I asked them about what needed to be done. He came out and took measurements and gave me an estimate on everything and how long it will take and it was just exactly what he said. He did a beautiful job. The guys came in and he had to cut granite for me so he came in and took the measurement and cut the granite. They came in one day and place that and then they came in the next day and put in the backsplash and everything. It took about a good week before everything was finished and it was a beautiful job and everything was great. I already recommended them to other people. The pricing was very good. He was quite reasonable. He was very punctual.

This is a class company. Andrew and his crew are efficient , easy to work with and the finished product is excellent. From first contact to final install it was less than 3 weeks. Andrew came out to take the measurements within two days of contact, unlike other companies I had contacted who required me to measure and send those rough measurements to them before they would respond in any meaningful way. Andrew provides true customer service in comparison as well as a beautiful finished product. Thanks Andrew!

My daughter hired SAI to install granite countertops in her kitchen. Andrew the owner came out for the estimate and was right on time. His price by far beat anyone else. Once we picked out the slab which was Giallo Ornamental the install date was very fast. We were overall very pleased with the job. She wanted a wider slab to have bar height stools and he did a great job. We told him we didn't want to see any brackets so he was able to have 3/8 inch steel plates fabricated so supports were not visible. No other estimate we got even suggested that option so we were thrilled with the finished product. I was a little disappointed that Andrew wasn't there for the install but he sent two other guys who still did a fine job even though there was a little bit of a language barrier. He also removed and disposed of the old countertops and installed the stainless steel sink. Andrew is a little hard to get in contact with. I did leave him messages on the telephone number but never got a return call until on one attempt he finally answered. He did admit that he's not one for returning messages so better off texting him. I was finally able to set the date for him to come out for the estimate. I chose him based on the reviews on Angies list.  Overall very pleased with how it turned out and very satisfied with the price. Thank you Andrew....

tAndrew is a very nice, decent guy.  Was punctual and professional when he came for estimate and then to measure.  Sent an email reminding me of install date and informing me of what I needed to do to prepare.   On day of installation, Andrew sent a two-man crew.  Again, both were very nice (alhough one of them was a smoker who smoked right out front).  However, two problems.  First, the guys only had clear silicone caulk with them.  There was a gap, maybe 5/16's at most, between the top of the new grantite back splash and the bottom of the existing ceramic tiles on the wall, for which white caulk was required.  The guys didn't have any white caulk, and told me I should have someone else fill the space with grout.  Not happy about that, since I had envisioned that they would caulk around the new pieces, and I was reluctant to put the kitchen back together without having that gap sealed, since I would just have to clear then off again when the gap was going to be sealed.  Second problem was that after the guys left, I found my 100-pound old cast iron sink sitting in my driveway, in front of my garage.  They were supposed to have hauled it away with the old countertops.  I was frankly surprised that Andrew did not stop by during the day just to see how his crew was doing, but in any event, I emailed him around 5:00 pm to let him know about the two issues and asking them to come over and take care of them..  Unfortunately, I did not hear from Andrew until 36 hours later.  In that 36 hours, the plumber I hired to re-hook up the faucet and new sink drains came as scheduled, and I had the plumber simply put a bead of white caulk in the space (looks nice), and he hauled away the old kitchen sink.
So bottom line is that price was very good, and Andrew is a good guy.  Also, the seam in the granite is very nicely done, and very difficult to see, which is important.  I think things fell apart on the execution side during the install.  I would use them again if I could insure that Andrew was going to be around to supervise.

Andrew responded to my photos and rough dimensions of our kitchen countertops and desk top. He then came over for an initial measurement. He drew out how each piece of countertop would be placed on a single slab of granite: this took much detailed problem solving. Other outfits quoted based on two slabs but Andrew was able to layout the pieces by suggesting a two piece design on the island. He was able to make an invisible seam (virtually) for the island stove piece. We were given the name and address of the granite supplier to visit and choose a recommended sized slab to accommodate his layout. We then were able to schedule the work within 1.5 weeks. Andrew came one more time to ensure he had all details necessary. THe installation took about twice the time predicted because of an upper cabinet that needed to be removed to accommodate the severe corner at our sink. There was no additional charge for this. THe workers were EXTREMELY careful and did such a great job in ensuring NO PAINTING had to be done post installation. I highly recommend them because of the meticulous work including ensuring all back splashes were caulked. All debris was removed upon completion. I initially made the mistake of using a non-plumber to save money but when that turned sour (leaks) I called Andrew to ask if his plumber would do the $250.00 for the work. This was a fair price for the work required. The price of the entire job was nearly 1/2 of other companies and results STELLAR! The price included a new sink, very deep and fantastic!

These guys were among the most competitive price-wise for quartz countertops.  During the estimate process, I got several estimates from Andrew because I kept changing my mind on which stone I wanted to use.  Communications were great.  I finally decided upon Hanstone Aurora Snow.
Andrew came out to do the measurements.  He took the sink I was going to use back to his shop to help with the cutout.  In less than a week later, two more guys came out to do the install.  Installation included attaching the sink, attaching the dishwasher, and cutting a single faucet hole.  The end result looks great.
I highly recommend their services.

Owner Andrew and the team at SAI made this a wonderful experience!  I submitted a request for an online estimate and Andrew responded within a few hours.  From there he was incredibly informative and talked me thru the process and what would happen, provided a time frame and all additional details I would need.  We scheduled an in-house estimate for a few days after and he arrived exactly when we arranged.  I was indecisive on what I wanted, but Andrew was patient and helpful while I chose the granite for our kitchen.  A few days later we scheduled the installation and his team again arrived exactly as scheduled.  They were polite, professional, and quick.  And on top of the service, SAI had the best prices of the 6 companies we recieved estimates from!  I would recommend SAI 110% and we will be calling them again for future remodeling.

We had a very nice experience with them. The owner is named Andrew, a very nice man. He reconfigured some stones who was given to me by someone. He got them picked up for my kitchen, got everything done and had them installed for me. It was a beautiful job. They worked very cleanly. They left everything clean and the work was beautiful. The price was very good.

Overall, this was an A+ experience.  As you can read above, the installation was flawless.  The best part, however, was the over-communication.  In any renovation, it is always difficult to coordinate everything to minimize disruption to your everyday life and in this case, because I was dealing with my friend's materials and his renovation, even more important.  Andrew proactively called me a couple times a week to update me on the progress.  Most importantly, when he said he would be somewhere, he was there on time and prepared to get the job done.

All in all, I am extremely happy with my experience with these guys.  Their methods and style of doing business are truly professional...I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone looking for a truly professional granite installer.

I called Andrew, and from start to finish he did exactly what he said he would.  His price was very competitive compared to other local teams, even though his team drove from downtown Chicago into the suburbs.  When he quotes a price, he's accurate exactly.  His team put new countertops in our rennovated basement, a bathroom, wet bar, and dry bar.  We removed some old formica counters and inadequate supports and Andrew was able to fabricate new heavy duty supports to carry the 300+ lb granite slabs perfectly.  The seams look great and, after doing competitive shopping at area home improvement stores, we determined to have him provide sinks as well at dramatic savings.
We did have one little hiccup in the process, but Andrew's team owned it and fixed within days.  I had made the uncommon request to polish the underside of the dry bar and once his team noticed, the took the Granite back to the store and came and finished the install based on what was convienient to MY schedule.  I was so impressed at the ownership and customer service that Stone Age Innovation put into their work!
I'm very impressed with his work and his professionalism.  We are looking to do our kitchen countertops next, and we'll definitely be calling Andrew for that as well.  His team also provides custom and stock cabinets as well which is very exciting.

Andrew was great, from beginning to end.  His quote was accurate.  He was prompt and communicated with us very well throughout the entire process.  When it came time to do the work, they were on time, professional, cleaned up the workspace after they completed their job, and did a great job protecting the newly installed hardwood floors.  The experience was awesome!

The experience was great. Andrew was very attentive from the beginning - From getting a quote, signing a contract and beginning work.  He arrived exactly when he and his team would arrive and they completed when they said they would.  Most importantly he and his team did excellent work and were very careful to protect our floors and clean up after they were done.  We are very pleased with the final product.

We started out by obtaining four quotes for this job and Stone Age Innovation was by far the most reasonably priced.   In additon to the great pricing, revviews form Angies list gave us the confidence that this was a quality company.  After getting the original quote (which was for the standard granite grades), we had the quote revised to reflect an upgrade in the granite which we picked out at a granite supplier.  In additon, we decided to go with full granite backsplashes which also increased the price.  Despite these upgrades, the price for this work was still below the basic price obtained from the other companies.  In June, we hired them to do the work.
The work required Andrew to come out and measure the job during which time we discussed some different options to the counter top designs.  We had a island with an overhang that didn't serve us well, so we discuss elimiting that extra countertop area to give us more space between the island and the refrigerator (good move).  Andrew measured up the job and got the information on the granite choice we had made, and we arranged a date for him to come back to do the work, with an estimation that the job would take two days.
On the scheduled date, he and his crew arrived promptly and removed the existing counter tops and installed the new granite ones on the first day.  On the second day they came out to install the backsplashes.  In order to make sure the backsplashes were cut properly to fit around the existing electrical outlets, they did some custom cutting on site so no mistakes occured.   After they were done, they sealed the granite and at that point Andrew contacted his plumbing subcontractor to come out and install the faucet and reconnect the grabage disposal.  The subcontractor came out the following morning and completed the job.

Overall the job went very well.  Andrew and his crew were prompt, courteous and took care to clean up each day after they were done.  The overall effect of the new countertops and backspalshes is stunning, and we are very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and the price we paid.

I called several granite companies to do the estimate, when I decide to put granite countertops in my kitchen and bathrooms. It took Andrew several days to provide us a quote after he came in and did the measurement. The price is competitive, but not significantly lower than others. I chose this company because of the good rating on Angie's list. I would say the overall result after installation is good. Andrew and his group came on time and finished the installation in less than 3 hours. But they are definetely not detail person. At the end of the installation, I pointed out some spots that I want Andrew to fix, he is not happy. One possible reason could be I didn't use his service to remove the old countertops and the old backsplashs. His price on that was way too high (almost 4x the price I paid to have them removed by another contractor.). But I could be wrong, maybe he just had a bad day?
