Andrew and his crew arrived right on time. They immediately got to work removing kitchen drawers, disconnecting the plumbing and removing the old countertops. Four strong guys were able to carry up the 10 foot piece without any issues (BRAVO!). Placed the pieces, cut an edge of the quartz where our wall was crooked, glued things down, installed the under-mount sink, cleaned up...All within 2 HOURS! My husband and I were very impressed!
Job was flawless. Workers were very meticulous. We moved in a year ago and he did our kitchen countertops. It was more but it was custom order. But very reasonable. Less than many others. The kitchen and baths look great. I have had so many compliments. Would definitely hire again
We had two VERY minor issues the day after the install and Andrew sent somebody over the next morning to fix those issues. Even after payment, Stone Age was there to complete the job to our satisfaction.
Great service, fair pricing and quality work. We'll look to Andrew and Stone Age again should we remodel our baths/kitchen in our current and future homes.
Andrew came on a weekend to measure for the countertop. I explained that the contractor would have to wait to install the sink until the counter was installed. I was so happy he was able to do the job in such a short time. It was all finished in 5 days. He had a huge selection to choose from in quartz . He even took the sink with him to be sure the hole was drilled correctly. The counter is beautiful. It was installed perfectly.
My daughter hired SAI to install granite countertops in her kitchen. Andrew the owner came out for the estimate and was right on time. His price by far beat anyone else. Once we picked out the slab which was Giallo Ornamental the install date was very fast. We were overall very pleased with the job. She wanted a wider slab to have bar height stools and he did a great job. We told him we didn't want to see any brackets so he was able to have 3/8 inch steel plates fabricated so supports were not visible. No other estimate we got even suggested that option so we were thrilled with the finished product. I was a little disappointed that Andrew wasn't there for the install but he sent two other guys who still did a fine job even though there was a little bit of a language barrier. He also removed and disposed of the old countertops and installed the stainless steel sink. Andrew is a little hard to get in contact with. I did leave him messages on the telephone number but never got a return call until on one attempt he finally answered. He did admit that he's not one for returning messages so better off texting him. I was finally able to set the date for him to come out for the estimate. I chose him based on the reviews on Angies list. Overall very pleased with how it turned out and very satisfied with the price. Thank you Andrew....
So bottom line is that price was very good, and Andrew is a good guy. Also, the seam in the granite is very nicely done, and very difficult to see, which is important. I think things fell apart on the execution side during the install. I would use them again if I could insure that Andrew was going to be around to supervise.
Andrew came out to do the measurements. He took the sink I was going to use back to his shop to help with the cutout. In less than a week later, two more guys came out to do the install. Installation included attaching the sink, attaching the dishwasher, and cutting a single faucet hole. The end result looks great.
I highly recommend their services.
All in all, I am extremely happy with my experience with these guys. Their methods and style of doing business are truly professional...I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone looking for a truly professional granite installer.
We did have one little hiccup in the process, but Andrew's team owned it and fixed within days. I had made the uncommon request to polish the underside of the dry bar and once his team noticed, the took the Granite back to the store and came and finished the install based on what was convienient to MY schedule. I was so impressed at the ownership and customer service that Stone Age Innovation put into their work!
I'm very impressed with his work and his professionalism. We are looking to do our kitchen countertops next, and we'll definitely be calling Andrew for that as well. His team also provides custom and stock cabinets as well which is very exciting.
"Thank you so much it help us a lot....Hello to your wife...."
We started out by obtaining four quotes for this job and Stone Age Innovation was by far the most reasonably priced. In additon to the great pricing, revviews form Angies list gave us the confidence that this was a quality company. After getting the original quote (which was for the standard granite grades), we had the quote revised to reflect an upgrade in the granite which we picked out at a granite supplier. In additon, we decided to go with full granite backsplashes which also increased the price. Despite these upgrades, the price for this work was still below the basic price obtained from the other companies. In June, we hired them to do the work.
The work required Andrew to come out and measure the job during which time we discussed some different options to the counter top designs. We had a island with an overhang that didn't serve us well, so we discuss elimiting that extra countertop area to give us more space between the island and the refrigerator (good move). Andrew measured up the job and got the information on the granite choice we had made, and we arranged a date for him to come back to do the work, with an estimation that the job would take two days.
On the scheduled date, he and his crew arrived promptly and removed the existing counter tops and installed the new granite ones on the first day. On the second day they came out to install the backsplashes. In order to make sure the backsplashes were cut properly to fit around the existing electrical outlets, they did some custom cutting on site so no mistakes occured. After they were done, they sealed the granite and at that point Andrew contacted his plumbing subcontractor to come out and install the faucet and reconnect the grabage disposal. The subcontractor came out the following morning and completed the job.
"thank you so much....I believe what whatever energy you send the same you will receive..."
