"The guys at Top Bros are Top Notch! Cesar was very helpful every step of the way. He was honest and professional. I trusted him from the very start of our project. Adan did the tile work in our walk in shower, it all came together nicely and turned out way better than I could ever imagine! I will hire them over and over again!"

"We hired Nate to remodel the tub/shower in our master bathroom. Job included demo of existing tile, removal and replacement of tub, shower fixtures and reframing of the entire area. Nate did an excellent job on the project, and we are thrilled with the end result. Communication was excellent thru/o the project, work is top notch, done properly and with care, and Nate is just fantastic to deal with. We could not be happier with the experience and the finished project. We plan to use Nate and Holeshot again for future projects as soon as our schedule allows. Highly recommend, feel free to contact us for reference if you are considering him!"

"Our experience with Michal was great all around. We had him install around 500 square feet of porcelain tile in our basement. Work quality was great, he got the job done on time, and pricing was very reasonable. I m planning on using Michal again and would recommend him to anyone who needs tile work done."

Customers say: True professional

"Ultrasource Performance made going from our old crusty bathroom to our brand new dream bathroom a breeze. Step 1. Put in an Ang's list request, Step 2. receive a phone call from the captain Frank, Step 3. pick out your tile and paint color and in about 2 weeks your kids will be taking a bath with dignity. Special thanks to Frank, Miguel & Jason on this project. True statesmen of their craft and wonderful to work with. My suggestion is accept their bid and don't look back. Thanks Ultrasource Performance!"

"Exceptional work all the way around! They have a unique skill that was handed down from their father and we received their name from a professional referral. They prepared the site (a vintage bathroom) by making the walls level and square before installing any stone. They made sure that everything was crafted as well as possible - to exceed our expectations and their own. They had our best interests at heart.
Our job included large slate tiles, small glass tiles and quartz slabs. 100% of the floor and walls are covered with stone and tile. Even a portion of the ceiling has tile. Every curve and corner was painstakingly executed and took extra time to get things right. The bathroom is a showplace. We are incredibly happy with their work. Excellent!

"My shower was in sad shape with broken tiles and needing re grouting. It looks amazing!, Not only was he able to replace broken tiles, but when he was finished grouting it looked brand new. Would definitely recommend this company."

"Guys were great. Garry came and gave me a bid. Had a hard time picking from all the stains he offer to finish my floorsand was very nice when I had to push back the project a day. Ron and the guys were very good at explaining what they were doing..step by step. The smell from stain and poly was terrible though but the floors look beautiful."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

The process takes two to four days, depending on the size of the area and your experience level. The first day involves assessing and prepping the existing tile, while the second day is for laying the new tile. This may take longer in complex areas. After letting the adhesive dry for 24 hours, grouting and sealing can be completed on day three. For larger projects or intricate tile patterns, expect the timeline to stretch a bit longer. Also, proper drying time between steps is essential for long-lasting results, which extends the project’s time.

Yes, you can install a backsplash directly onto drywall, provided the wall is properly prepped, clean, and dry. For best results, especially in kitchen areas, your walls should be made of moisture-resistant drywall, often called green board. If your current wall isn't moisture-resistant, it's recommended to replace it before installing the backsplash. For even greater protection against water damage, you can remove the existing drywall and install a tile backer board or cement board instead. While properly installed standard drywall is typically strong enough to support a backsplash, some local building codes may require water-resistant materials in kitchen areas, so it's a good idea to check.

Yes, but you’ll have to use some other type of tool to avoid damaging the tile and possibly injuring yourself. Some alternatives to tile cutters include a glass cutter, angle grinder, and wet saw. Depending on the tile material, you might simply be able to measure and score it with something sharp, like a carbide-tipped pencil, and break it off. Be sure to sand the edge for a smooth installation.

It’s best to start with tiling the shower floor before moving on to the walls for the most visually-pleasing results. When taking on any tiling project, you’ll want the wall tiles to “sit” neatly on the floor tiles rather than overlapping them. Finishing your floor tiles first will allow you to place your wall tiles without any gaps, holes, or awkward intersections.

Yes, you can tile over existing tiles in a bathroom, but it is not always recommended. For this method to be successful, the original tile surface must be clean, flat, and free of damage such as cracks, unevenness, mold, or mildew. While tiling over existing tiles can save time and money, there are potential drawbacks. The new adhesive may not bond properly, and the process adds extra weight to the wall or floor. Additionally, the increased height of the surface could interfere with door clearances. For the best and most durable results, removing the old tiles before installing new ones is generally the better option.
