Unfortunately, after repeated issues (we’ve had water getting through a basement door, water backing up from drain/sewer pipe, foundation cracks – all which were addressed) we now have had issues with hydrostatic water pressure delivering a great deal of water to our finished basement. Only one solution – drain tiles and sump pump installation. US Waterproofing was outstanding, every step of the way. They communicated clearly what was needed, and much to our surprise, what was not. They did not ever try to sell us anything that was not needed – only what was – installation of drain tile, window well drains, sump pump, and all work related. All of the crews involved were outstanding – in particular, the crews installing the drain tile and sump pump. The supervisor clearly and concisely explained every step – and when issues arose, they were dealt with promptly. The teams removing drywall and reinstalling also did very good work, and were very responsive. Everything was done correctly, and on schedule The work is now complete – and the basement is back to normal. I commend USW on all facets – they explained everything, did not try to oversell anything, and were responsive to issues as they arose. I contacted one business and was waiting for them to get back to me when I received notification that another business in my area had been located. Steve called me shortly after I had received the notification and said he received my information from Angi.com and could be out the same day and would call to let me know when he was headed my way. True to his word, he called and arrived when he said he would. After surveying the problem it was determined I needed a new sump pump. Steve quoted me the price and said he would have someone out the next day. The next morning I received a call from Steve letting me know he could have Julian out to my house that morning in about 20 minutes if that would work. I said it was perfect and Julian arrived when Steve said he would. Julian was very professional and courteous (as was Steve) and within an hour my new sump pump was installed.
