"Discovered a colony of termites in our garage, started calling different companies on a Saturday afternoon. The first 5 companies didn't have much to say, either because it had an answering service or the person was just an admin. Called Advantage and the owner actually answered and provided information on termites and what can be done. Had them come out and do an evaluation and then the following week they came out and did the work. Excellent knowledge and excellent work. Very good folks, great experience!"

"100% would recommend Mica from Plunkett’s to deal with your cockroach issues. We had roaches off and on for many months, despite a good cleaning regime etc., and eventually realized other units in our shared building had the same issues. Mica quickly and precisely diagnosed the source of the issue, was real with us about time and possible costs, worked with us in coordinating multiple units, patiently answered all questions, and in the end helped my neighbors and I deal with this extremely persistent issue in a relatively short time frame. He approached treatment with a lot of care and thought, in particular listening and adjusting for our concerns re: safety of our young toddler. This was a big one for us! Plunkett’s was a bit more expensive than some other pest control companies we looked at, but neighbors had already tried multiple other services and it never got rid of the issue. In the end, it was probably cheaper than multiple ineffective treatments, but more importantly we haven’t seen a roach in several months."

"Just wanted to share my experience w/ Blue Chip Pest Control. My 6 month old puppy got into their rat poison box in my back yard which they assured me would never happen. They said he could never get into it and that the poison would never hurt him because of his size. (About 50lbs. at the time). He couldn’t stop vomiting and was pooping blood. My girlfriend took him straight to the Vet where they treated him with vitamin K and some nausea stuff for his stomach. I have been a customer for over 10 yrs. and when I called to notify them they told me that wasn’t possible like I made it up. All I asked from them was to please pay the approx. $400 Vet bill. We went back and forth for several months finding it very difficult to get ahold of them most times. Finally they asked me to get something in writing from my Vet which I did and they still would not respond for over a month. I then threatened to leave a bad review and within an hr. they responded offering to credit my account for the Vet bill. That would have been great if they’d have did that in the beginning, but after all the grief all I really wanted was to get reimbursed so I could take my business elsewhere. I know the ownership changed recently but that is no way to treat a long term customer. I will never use them again and if asked, will def. urge others to use someone else!"

"They did an excellent job doing the repairs on my gas replacing in the house. And nay concerns I had about repairs done wrong by them. They have rectified it already."

"They installed this system more than five ??? years ago. In recent years I am not aware of any technician services although I am billed $260 yearly. I never have any evidence of any visits. I am home most of the time & never see their truck, or get a knock on my door. The leaves around the devices they installed are never disturbed. I believe I am making a donation to them yearly. I recall some years ago complaining & they said they couldn't locate some devices as they got covered up. Couldn't believe they were so unprofessional as to not map the locations or insert markers. In past years I have found some insects & hope they were ants."

"I have used Critter Control for many years. I used them because their employees were invariably knowledgeable about the various animals often telling me from clues left by the animals exactly what type of animal I was dealing with. They have now been bought out by a large company and it seems as if a lot of that knowledge has left. I recently hired them to deal with animals, I assumed possums. They have changed their pricing structure from a per animal charge to a flat fee. They explained that before hand and while pricey, I was willing to deal with it because of the good experiences I had had in the past. They came out and caught immediately a baby possum. Afterward, I got up the scat so I would know if there were others. There were although the employee thought it wasn't more scat just mud. I pointed out that when it had been fresh, it was obviously scat. I also suggested that they might want to move the traps as I did not think it reflected where the animals had been going. Long story short, they only caught the one possum and left. I hired another company and on day one, they caught two more. I won't use Critter Control again as they now seem to lack the basic knowledge that long ago drew me to them."
