Just wanted to share my experience w/ Blue Chip Pest Control. My 6 month old puppy got into their rat poison box in my back yard which they assured me would never happen. They said he could never get into it and that the poison would never hurt him because of his size. (About 50lbs. at the time). He couldn’t stop vomiting and was pooping blood. My girlfriend took him straight to the Vet where they treated him with vitamin K and some nausea stuff for his stomach. I have been a customer for over 10 yrs. and when I called to notify them they told me that wasn’t possible like I made it up. All I asked from them was to please pay the approx. $400 Vet bill. We went back and forth for several months finding it very difficult to get ahold of them most times. Finally they asked me to get something in writing from my Vet which I did and they still would not respond for over a month. I then threatened to leave a bad review and within an hr. they responded offering to credit my account for the Vet bill. That would have been great if they’d have did that in the beginning, but after all the grief all I really wanted was to get reimbursed so I could take my business elsewhere. I know the ownership changed recently but that is no way to treat a long term customer. I will never use them again and if asked, will def. urge others to use someone else!

Nate called an hour before he arrived at my rental property. Once we met, he took charge of the situation and handled it just as I had hoped. I had one tenant who is sensitive to chemicals and he went out of his way to work with her. He found the ant colony almost immediately.

Called Blue Chip and they were very informative. Scheduled the extermination the same day. Chris Tooley arrived on time, looked at the nests and said no problem. He also sprayed the perimeter of house while he was at our home. Yes - I will hire again.

We have an annual service plan with Blue Chip and have had for over 5 yrs. Over the last year to two years I have become more and more disappointed with the service. When we first contracted with Blue Chip we were happy with the service, but the last 18 months plus we have had more and more bug issues and there was never a break in service. At first it was just ants in the kitchen and this warm season not only were they in the kitchen they were in the bedrooms and bathroom! We are serviced every 2 months and did call occasionally for additional treatments, but the problem continues (only the cold weather is helping now). In addition, one of the times my home was being serviced I heard my outside water running, I looked to see what was going on and found the Blue Chip technician filling their ranks with my water. I called about this and was told that they do use customer water and that if I didn't want them to, they would make note of it in our account. Lastly, I recently called to pay my bill and was told that our next service would be in about a week at a time I would not be available. I explained I needed my indoor rodent traps replenished because we are still having that on-going issue too, I asked about other times and was only offered that day and really no other times because they had commercial clients that needed service first thing in the morning. I would have recommended this company at one time, but not any more.

"I'm sorry that it sounds like we let you down with our service. I would like the opportunity to correct this situation and have tried reaching you several times via email and phone with no response yet. Please feel free to contact me directly if there is an opportunity to make this right. We have listened to the call last week and spoken to the office staff regarding this type of situation. It sounded like there was no other available times due to the fact that this past week was shortened due to the holiday. Needless to say, we can (in most circumstances) find a time that is convenient for you, however sometimes other appointments are already scheduled on a particular day with specific times (like our commercial clients). It sounds like the office should have offered another service day. In regards to the service issues, we have a year round guarantee with most service plans that cover these pests and provide for any additional treatment necessary at no additional cost. Not making excuses but this past year was a particularly bad one for pest with heavy amounts of rain, and hardly any days over 100 degrees this summer. As far as the issue with water, for safety concerns we try to avoid having super sized tanks on our trucks and / or driving around with full tanks unless necessary. We do utilize water at the treatment site if at all possible and generally only need a small amount of water to complete this. Needless to say if you would prefer that water is not used from your home, simply make the request and we will make notes on your account for the technician. Again, I am sorry for the problems with your service and would like the chance to make this right. Jeff Phillips - Owner"

I really like these guys.  I've used them for about a year and a half.  I've found them responsive, punctual, and professional.  Jason came yesterday and he was really nice and helpful.  They do a good job of letting you know what you need and what you don't need.   I'll keep using them and recommending them.

They have been wonderful.  We used them on a rental property that we have and they are really good at working with our tenants.  They are always on time and they do a good job.  They take care of whatever pests we have at that time.

I have been using the company on and off for 3-4 years. The moles go away and come back from time to time. The staff is punctual and do a good job. They can always get rid of the moles when they come out. I have not had to use them for a few years. I have never had a problem scheduling them out for a schedule. I like that I do not have to be home while they do the job.

The flea treatment of the house and backyard required two visits. The first one was around $200, but I used the online coupon for $30.00 off. The 2nd treatment was $65.00. We just had our 2nd treatment today. I'd say for the follow up treatment where the 2nd person came seemed to be more  thorough. (Both men were very nice and locked up the house for me while I went to work). The only negative I'd say is that when I called Blue Chip they took down my address incorrectly so the first person called to tell me he was on his way and I was able to tell him the correct address,and he arrived 10 minutes early. The follow up person was 30 minutes late because the address was never changed in their system, so not his fault.
 I am thankful and my animals are thankful too to be rid of the fleas. They have been on frontline--but had some exposure to fleas and it was brought in the home. We are now vacuuming and sweeping everyday to guarantee they won't return. We had to have the animals taken out of the house to our vet both times for 4-6 hours while the house was being sprayed. But it worked out because both times we had the vet give the animals CAPSTAR, which is a pill that kills fleas within an hour., and then when we brought them home we gave them flea baths to get rid of any eggs or dead fleas on them.

Everyone in blue-chip pest control was very helpful. They responded quickly and came to spray my house the next day. When Steve arrived he was very friendly and informative. He was very conscious and aware of the fact that I have two small children in the house. I've signed a contract for them to come out quarterly and spray the exterior of my house, keeping the chemicals outside rather than inside. Initially they thought that I would be more than one treatment, but after closer inspection said that I should only need the first treatment to solve my initial problem. I appreciated the honesty!
