"We decided that Summer of 2015 was the time to update several of the circa 1988 features of our home.  The scope of the project included remove/replace mixed aluminum & cedar siding, remove/replace a large, but sadly sinking pressure-treated pine deck, and addition of a 15' diameter paver patio adjacent to the deck.
Several contractors were contacted to bid on this job.  Most responded and many struggled to pull together all three disciplines of the work: siding, deck, and patio. We had a few folks bid on their specialty and promise to get back to us-right!  Tim Slamans came out promptly and helped us work through the design, timeline, and cost.  The design & cost estimates that he sketched out that afternoon turned into reality as we contracted Slamans on the whole project.
Detailed drawings and village permits were quickly processed.  We had a nominal queue time as Slamans completed other projects before ours was to begin.  This time to start was quicker than some other estimates we received.
We received frequent and timely updates on scheduled events and permit inspections from Jane with the Slamans team.  She was on top of every aspect of this big project & quick to answer the many questions that we had.
The implementation phase was smooth and efficient, despite a rainy early summer season.  We had a different crew for each element of the project.  All were professional and considerate of our family.  As the project move forward, we had a number of requests to make various small changes.  Tim willingly agreed to these and made it happen without question.  The entire project was completed today, slightly more than two months since we first sat down with Tim.  We'll be sure to contact Slamans for future home improvement projects.
