"Farhan came to the house promptly and determined the problem. Gave me an estimate, ordered the part I needed, and scheduled to come back and do the job. He did extra when he replaced a line that would be a problem in the future at no additional charge. He did a great job and the frig is working perfectly now. I would definitely have him back when I need another appliance repair."

"Melvin Flores is a consummate professional. He called to let me know when he was on his way to my home. When he arrived he was very polite. He explained the problem I was having with my dishwasher and fixed it efficiently. I highly recommend him for appliance repair (my only experience with his work)."

"The service technicians from A+ Appliance Repair came out and diagnosed the problem with my clothes dryer not heating. They were able to repair it immediately. It's always nice when you need a repair company that carries parts with them instead of having to be ordered and then come back. The technicians were very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. It's no wonder why A+ has so many 5 star reviews and satisfied customers. I highly recommend A+ Appliance Repair!"

Appliance Repair questions, answered by experts

How long a refrigerator lasts depends on the brand, model, and the level of maintenance you carry out, but the average lifespan is around 15 years. In general, a fridge can last anywhere from 8 to 27 years, though most fridges will be good to use for 10 to 15 years. You can extend the usable life of your refrigerator by having it serviced as soon as you notice any issues.

The most popular size of wall oven is around 28 inches wide. Ovens are mostly constructed as cubes, and they are described by their width. This size provides a nice balance between cooking space, energy efficiency, and cutout size. This popular size can handle food for up to six people.

On average, a typical fridge uses 115 kWh per month. With eight hours of sunlight per day, a 100-watt solar panel can produce 30 kWh per month. This means you’ll need at least four dedicated panels to power the refrigerator with solar energy. Consult with a solar power specialist to get a more accurate estimate.

Usually, a kitchenette does not have a stove. But if you have the space, you could add a small stove. If you choose to install a stove, you’ll also need to add an exhaust fan. You can expect to pay an average price of $750 to install an exhaust fan. That’s why you'll commonly see kitchenettes with countertop hotplates instead.

To effectively service small appliances, perform routine checks for wear and tear, clean components regularly, and ensure all connections are secure.
