"11/04/18 I am changing this review. One of the things they did was cut off the bottom of the sliding door so it would slide easier. The work was done in August. I didn't notice until fall / winter, there was no weather striping and the wind was blowing in, actually snow was blowing in. I had to have a new sliding door installed which I did 2/22/18. I never did hear back from them about the balances for the double-hung windows. Very prompt service. I contacted them Tuesday, August 22, 2017, the sliding door was repaired the following Monday. Alex explained the repair (it needed a new track) and why it was needed. The double hung window needs new balances, Alex is checking into the part. I was very happy with their work and will recommend them to anyone who needs a sliding door repaired. I had contacted 3 other companies. One said it couldn't be fixed, buy a new door; one didn't respond; and one was to busy to handle the repair now. I am thankful Sliding Door Repair Service was able to help me. They did such an excellent job!"

"Very well. The company was responsive, arrived when they said they wuld, diagnosed the problem, and completed the repair. They had to take the door back to their shop but returned the door panel fixed and re-installed it. They were very accommodating of my work schedule in coming out both times. There was some extra work required to fix the screen. I offered to pay an additional charge. That offer was refused saying the quote was the quote. Honest, fast, and good. You can't ask for more than that."

"I hired Allied to fix a bifold door but Jeff also repaired window screens and took care of various other small projects, including replacing smoke alarm batteries. Allied came out to give me an estimate the same day I submitted my request. Jeff immediately fixed the door and left with the screens. He was back a few days later with the repaired screens and then took care of the rest."

Since there is no other place for me to say this, I will NEVER use Angi’s again. I asked for quotes on this door repair, an awning and countertop replacement. Every contractor was miles and miles away. Since you are so desperate to get business, you try to send people from WAY to far away. Some wouldn’t come to my house but quoted over the phone, distance added wait time for me and where I would be required to see the product , it was a ridiculous distance for me to drive. Even this contractor mention cost if gas I his final price. Never again!"
