"When shopping around we always encourage 3 quotes per project. Our pricing has not changed in 11 years until the recent addition in glass costing. We are sorry you felt like the project you worked with us on was? expensive. but you also provided a competitor's shower door for us to install that took 3 hours to complete to your satisfaction."

They removed my old shower door (original from home, year 1991) and miraculously were able to install a new one. Even though the door we purchased (on our own from lowes) is lower quality, we at least have a nice new door. They were quick, efficient, and on time. They also took and disposed of the old door.

I contacted James Opsal several times about a stripping that had come loose on the shower door replacement. James said they would come out and fix it. I sent text messages and emails but never got a response. I finally received a response via text message indicating that he would come out and repair the door on 12/9. James never showed up or bothered to call. The shower door is still not repaired. Obviously, Hawthorne Glass does not stand behind their workmanship. I would never hire, nor recommend them to anyone.
