"Not what I expected for the price but you get what you pay for. The fence was installed with very little attention to detail. The material is what you would expect from an iron fence but the installation is where we have issues. The contractor cut pieces either too short and had to "jimmy" a fix or it was too long and is not symmetrical when screwed to the main post. The fabrication of the fence sections are poorly done. Several sections are not even level with one another (after install) which is something I would expect to not be an issue for 2K. Overall, the fence is doing what it is suppose to do. We have no problems there. However, when it comes to aesthetics, the fence looks like a DIY project built by a first timer such as myself.
If details are important than I would consider a different contractor. If price is what you would rather have (and a friendly contractor) than this might be the right company for hire. Unfortunately we went for price and we are paying for it again in the details.

"My first remodel in my home and it went really well. Jon was very accommodating and willing to work within my budget, giving me a couple of different quotes of work they could do. Once the work and budget was decided on, it went very smoothly. Ben did the majority of the work and he was very kind, professional, and open about what tasks were happening that day. I liked that they cleaned as they worked especially since it was a small space and my only bathroom in the house. I would totally recommend them to my friends and family and will be using them again in the near future for upcoming projects."

"It was great, they came out new year time to fix little things, I had fish and vegetables there at 9000ft and the greenhouse is working perfectly. He was professional and knows what he was doing, does business well and built a very strong greenhouse."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Moisture and rot are the largest threat to wooden fences. Stain can help your wood fence last 15 to 20 years, but only if you choose a stain with waterproofing qualities or add a sealant. Oil-based stains create a thicker moisture barrier than water-based stains, though both are mold and mildew resistant. You’ll generally need to re-stain your fence every one to eight years to get full protection.

The cost to build a fence is about $3,100 on average, but you could pay anywhere from $400 to $13,700 or more. Your cost will depend on the length, height, and materials for the fence. If you hire a professional installer, labor costs typically represent about half of the total cost of the project. This means you potentially can save quite a bit of money doing the work yourself.

How much does a privacy fence cost? Stockade fences cost $12 to $13 per linear foot for materials. You may find fencing that costs less, but it’s likely wholesale wood manufactured using young trees. Fencing materials made with young trees are less durable than those made with mature trees.

For installation, expect to pay $30 to $80 per hour. Installing a 150- to 200-linear-foot fence takes 20 to 35 hours, which comes to about $600 to $2,800 for labor.

For the most part, goats are friendly and won’t charge at you, but there are exceptions to this rule, as there are with any animal handling practices. Typically, goats don’t attack unless they feel threatened. Avoid cornering or rough handling goats to avoid getting head-butted, bitten, or kicked, and always supervise goats when they’re near children or pets.

While they can be closer, the maximum distance between fence posts for residential fences is 8 feet. This ensures the panels are adequately supported by the fence posts. This is usually dictated by the width of the panel, which is typically between 5 and 8 feet. While narrower panels will require more posts, they’ll be lighter and easier to work with than wider panels that are the same height.
