"Steven was very professional and showed up on time and ready to get the job going. Have everything he needed to complete the job and also cleaned everything when the job was completed. I highly recommend him for any electrical work. Everything works perfectly"

Small jobs welcome

"Nathan was able to provide all the work we required in our first round of jobs. He laid engineered hardwood floors in two bedrooms and his attention to detail was perfect. The floors look incredible. He installed overhead storage shelves in our garage and, again, an excellent job. He graciously agreed to a couple of add on jobs and everything he did was professional, quality work. We have a second round of projects that he will be doing and we plan to continue to work with him. Integrity, quality, and reasonable pricing...what more could one ask for?!"

"Recently, due to a need to replace some hardy-board siding, I required the help of someone with more experience and expertise then I could muster. It became necessary to enlist the help of a contractor. What I anticipated to be a simple repair, IE, call candidate, set up time, receive estimate and advice, hire said contractor and resolve what I thought as an easy and uncomplicated task. NOT SO. First I called two local contractors with whom I was acquainted. Twice I called each of them and twice they chose to ignore my call. How can a professional builder who advertizes in more than one local journal IGNORE a job offer. TWICE!! If said advertized professionals were too busy to accept additional work, the very least they should have done is RETURN your call and tell you so. That's simply good business. Happily Angie's List came to the rescue. It was there I found Evans Industries. I read the testimonials. Their lofty ratings were spot-on. Not only did Brett Evans respond to my email, but drove out to my home, identified the problem, proposed a solution, set up a rapid repair date, and, most importantly, followed through as agreed. How refreshing. Kudos to Brett, Chris and Jim. Great job guys. Ron Ragone"

Treehouse Builders questions, answered by experts

The only real drawback to green building is that it’s more expensive up front, with per-square-foot prices sitting 33% higher than what you’d pay to build a traditional home. The higher cost is due to more expensive building materials and more labor to ensure every aspect of the home is as efficient as possible. However, green buildings often save money in the long run, so this is just a temporary downside.

In most cases, you can attach a greenhouse to any type of house. However, certain factors need to be considered, such as the structural integrity of the house, available space, and local building regulations. You should consult with a professional contractor or architect to assess the feasibility and ensure proper construction methods.

Yes, with proper heating or cooling systems and energy-efficient glazing.

Increases living space and adds value to the home through enhanced utility.

Don’t forget to factor in the climate where you live during the planning stage. If your area is prone to bitter cold and heavy snow, you might want to invest in stronger greenhouse materials like a concrete slab, steel frame, and glass walls or plan to take your greenhouse down for the winter.
